    Abel Sanchez says he knocked back the Ortiz fight said joe is currently not ready but 2 fights down the line they will look at it.

    Yet some posters say Ortiz is never ducked and also acussed him of ducking Joyce time to put some respect on king kongs name.

    Knew it. Unlike for Stiverne ain't no man ready for King Kong after seven pro fights. Hell, Dillian Whyte has 26 fights and Tibbs would say the exact same thing about him.

    Clear as a whistle after the Hanks fight. Joyce was caught flush by Joe Hanks. Joyce would have been KOd by a world class counter puncher like Ortiz in one round if Ortiz was the opponent. Joyce has to work on his defense or he's a brutal KO waiting to happen like it happend in the amateurs.

    You could see that Joyce was clearly afraid of Ortiz as he talked with some media guy about a possible fight and Ortiz just crossed them during the interview and said "Of course, lets fight"...Joyce looked like he saw the ghost of Elvis ffs.

    It would make sense to ease into that kind of fight. Shouldn't go from crushing cans to a top 5 heavyweight. Maybe blitz Stiverne and then get a Takam or Duhaupus to acclimate to the higher level. Joyce does need to get on that quick though.

    I think Joyce might have a surprising loss. Probably not this weekend, but I don’t really rate him. I don’t think he’ll be a top World level guy personally and he doesn’t really have time to rebuild after a damaging loss.

    I'll give Ortiz respect when he stops fighting journeyman and actually gets a win against someone more notable than Jennings.

    I didn't see his Hanks performance but every time I have watched him he's been incredibly, stupidly open. The sort of style that carries you so far and no further. He has some of the pieces, but unless Abel can add a decent defence he is an accident waiting to happen.

    Anyway he's made clear it was him not Joyce putting the brakes on which is decent. I like Joe, hope he can realise his talent.

    Joyce likes to defend with his head, Ortiz likes to capitalise on people like that.

    Ortiz is accurate as ****, and his punches hurt.

    Smart choice by Abel... coulda been another Dave Allen situation.

    But stuff like this is the problem even someone like Joyce who is looking to move along quick swerve’s a fight with him.
