Will it draw blood? Probably. Or will it get swat? Most definitely! Regardless, I think he will get cornered and splattered.
Hope his corner are on the ball, you look at GGGs career and there's not been many who can take too much punishment from GGG,why would Canelo be any different? Someone like Ward who can take away the opp power would have a chance but I'm not sure Canelo can do that
Able seems like those internet warriors acting tough behind a keyboard, Only difference he's hiding behind his fighter
Abel has had lots of experience, he's been through it all, he knows what he's doing.................... El Pollo is not fighting Abel, by the way...................
I swear Abel Sanchez is the most annoying guy in boxing at the moment. Does he feel he has to make up for Golovkin's quiet personality?
How quickly and often Canelo can counter Golovkin's shots are gonna be very telling in this fight. If he can continuously do so and make Golovkin gun shy regarding throwing, and move more than he ever has at least until Golovkin wears a bit, it's gonna be interesting. If he can't deter Golovkin from throwing, it's gonna be a big problem. Abel is right, if Golovkin doesn't respect Canelo's power (like he respected Daniel's), he's eventually gonna run Canelo over.
Rather disrespectful, Canelo can dig, I believe Golovkin will smash his body to pieces but I wouldn't go as far as to say Canelo can't punch.
I guess Sanchez is counting on his reputation as a trainer lending his negative evaluation of the opposition a certain weight that it otherwise would not carry. https://sports.yahoo.com/news/abel-...-one-of-boxing-s-best-trainers-183354185.html Canelo should simply take it for what it is-a cunning attempt by the opposition to undermine his self confidence prior to a fight.
Spot on. I actually quite like Canelo's punching, he's sharp, accurate and quick. He has plenty enough pop to hurt guys. That said, Golovkin has already fought bigger punchers (Lemieux, Stevens, Jacobs amongst others) and has taken their shots no problem. Canelo can't rely on his power here; he's got to slip and counter and make sure his timing is perfect. It's the only way he stands a chance. If he brawls with GGG (lol) it's going to end one way
