weird that he was much more eager to put a less experienced guy in with ward than he was with his more experienced fighter....strange....

 

he tried negotiating a fight with ggg(right before ggg announced a fight with lemieux...of which ward had no knowledge of) before he signed his hbo deal...you dummy....

Sanchez is full of it, fact is that Ward schooled Barrera from round one through eight so the other four didn't matter. If it was an eight round fight then it would've been a shutout. Also, didn't he state that Barrera would knock Ward out in nine or was that Barrera himself who said that.

 

Probably because Barrera is the same size as Ward where as GGG is considerably smaller
