When did you see Sanchez change the course of a Golovkin fight with his words? Did Golovkin ever follow his instructions? And the reason why Golovkin became a draw because HBO did a good job promoting him. Sanchez tried to hype him as well, he kept saying "Mexican style" but since Sanchez comes across irritating when he talks, I don't think he gained many fans for GGG. He gained many haters, I gotta give him that.

    How about Joe Joyce?

Joyce claims that Sanchez wanted him to plod forward, use his size and strength and that was all his plan with him. No wonder Joyce left Sanchez as well. Adam Booth now teaches him how to be more technical instead.

Outside of GGG, Sanchez doesn't have any truly elite fighters in his stable. He's got Gassiev, but he's reached his limit. Gassiev hired Abel only because of GGG's reputation.

The other fighters he's training are struggling to make a name for themselves. Sanchez didn't make GGG. GGG made Sanchez. GGG was an Olympian and had an amazing amateur record. He was always an elite level fighter.

Before Sanchez, GGG was already a feared fighter. Before GGG, Sanchez was a struggling trainer whose name was fading from boxing. We know who made who. Sanchez is a greedy ******* and he's been acting like a hysterical ex-girlfriend since the break up.

You seem to suffer from an utter lack of reading comprehension, because nowhere did I claim that Sanchez was worthless as a trainer. I called him average / mediocre. He made sure Golovkin was in shape, fighting fit and sharp, he was also his hype man. But when it comes to strategy - game planning and giving advices during fights, Sanchez was way over his head, he clearly proved it when his boxers (GGG, Gassiev) fought elite opponents.

Joe Joyce is likely bitter that Abel Sanchez was honest about where he stands as far as competing with the elite of the division.

Abel was very honest about Joyce's abilities and limitations, and seemed like he was looking out for him.

my reading comprehension is nowhere near as bad as your sense of self awareness. im to believe some kid in love with golovkin is going to know how to better train him, than a top trainer who has been there for a decade. what frickin world do you live in?

Who considered Abel Sanchez a top trainer after the 90s and before Golovkin joined his gym in 2012 genius? We are talking about 15 years of time at least. The answer is nobody. Btw. Terry Norris fired him in 1992.

Way to duck the question... Show me a boxing journalist, boxer, trainer, manager, promoter or anybody that is related to boxing who considered Abel Sanchez a top trainer between 1996 - 2012. I'll wait.

The trainer should never be the center of attention. I thought Roach was extremely annoying and wish he'd shut up even during the best years of Pac's career. Roach is a very good trainer, but he's an attention ***** and a distraction.

Abel and Angel Garcia are also on the same boat.

You GGG haters so funny. You try so hard to prop up ideas that make GGG look bad. Such as saying 36 year old GGG was in his prime or that Sanchez brought him up to be the best he ever was lol.

Facts are GGG regressed technically under Sanchez, and we have heard it from other fighter's mouths that Abel doesn't focus on the technical side but more power and conditioning. I would also make the claim all the strength and conditioning made him slower.

Facts are a bullying style that Abel wants his fighters to follow only works well when against a lesser opponent. Against someone within your skill range and good defense you have to box. This is why he chose to box Jacobs and Canelo. Following Abel's gameplan would lead to him being knocked out and outboxed.

aah, another expert trainer. tell me, how stupid is ggg to have stuck with such a worthless trainer. and how stupid is his brother for letting ggg replace him with that garbage? are we dealing with genetic stupidity?
