Abel is piece of crap. Just look at his interview before Usyk match against Gassiev and his after the match. He never blame himself for anything, he always put the blame to his fighter after a lose.

 

If you read this Abel, **** you!

 

why are people siding GGG over Abel in their breakup? Abel was loyal to GGG his whole career and GGG fired him because he didnt want to pay him anymore. GGGs character is much more damaged in this than Abels. GGG has no loyalty or honor, he is just about money.

 

GGG was paying him the same percentage, but he was earning more so technically Abel was getting paid more

 

If this was canelo with chepo imagine what people will say here lol

 

you can't be an average trainer and have world champs

 

if you're ward you don't want a guy coming up two weight classes and beating the best guy on your resume

 

Abel is a mediocre trainer, he is only good at strength and conditioning, yet he acted like he made Golovkin. It was the other way around.

 

He made Golovkin's "Mexican style" which was actually a major regression technically and made Golovkin a worse fighter

 

Agreed, the bile is oozing out of him as he speaks

 

He wasn’t a worse fighter, the pressure style, although not his natural way to fight, suited him well and it brought him some spectacular KO wins.
Problem is, that’s all Abel knows. Golovkin got older, some changes were required and there were non in Abel’s bag. I already mentioned his corner work for Gassiev “do you want me to pull you out”.
Hence why Golovkin did things his way in the second Canelo fight, still won and concluded that Abel cannot help him.

 

I like both these guys. Frankly I was sad to see GGG and Sanchez part ways.

 

I don't know. When asked in an interview who would win between GGG and Canelo in #3 a few months back he said simply "The same guy that won the first two fights, Golovkin." He seemed more sad about the whole story tbh.
