Ward won by intentional illegal headbutt, Ward got to fight in his home town with his personal referee, boxing commission, judges, etc., Ward started headbutting from round one, elbows, low blows, holding, elbows, holding and hitting, etc.

lol.. As if Canelo was 'bricking up' in a room full of officials and with Able there looking on.. Sanchez is creating more drama like he always does. This is a non-story.

    1. It is generally accepted that you can't wrap your gloves in this way and in most cases when it is brought to attention you aren't allowed to do this. The problem is that I can't find a written rule against it. It doesn't make sense that a lot of trainers think that this is illegal and when brought to attention the commission usually steps in and prevents this from happening if it is something that is okay to do.

    2. I brought that up to show that there are some things that are a grey area. Some things that aren't exactly written but could be interpreted in a certain way to prevent this.

Just doesn't make sense why Sanchez is coming out with this now, so many months later.

If I was Sanchez I would be making as much noise about the Clenbuterol, not bringing up old stuff like this

I have to agree with this. Not only that but why has he kept quiet about it for so long? Why didnt he make an issue of it LIVE on tv BEFORE the fight? Also why would he agree to a rematch knowing his fighter is up against loaded gloves?

I've always found a lot of the stuff Sanchez says a bit fanciful. I guess he'd say that Canelo has now been outted as a drugs cheat he felt emboldened to call out another rule break.

Clearly though if this is true then Sanchez doesn't have the balls of Brother Nazim.

He can pour it on a bit thick. Sanchez has more "promoter" in him than most trainers.

I understand the whole situation and everything but Abel Sanchez needs to STFU already.. hes making GGG look bad and Golovkin has shown noting but class on this matter so far.. Abel is acting like a child.. Bottom line.. If its positive.. Cancel the fight.. Canelo get suspended.. That should be the end of it.. No more BS

I'm not surprised and it makes me laugh and just think what an absolute beast a 35 year old and "on the slide" Golovkin actually is.

Even though there isn't no evidence you have to say there is a possibility Canelo was doing something dodgy before and now apparent stacked wraps and Golovkin swallowed everything Canelo could throw at him.

Take away Canelo's "medicine" or as Canelo would tell you "meat contamination" and now the alleged stacked wraps and we might see a totally different fighter at 160, we know what we are getting with Golovkin but Canelo might not be the same confident and durable fighter if Team GGG keep pushing in this way.

Very clever from Team GGG to start exposing things they were unhappy with now, enough time to put real pressure on the people who allowed these things to happen before and get answers early.

These issues will be discussed and governing bodies and officials will have to answer questions BEFORE fight night.

All eyes on the officials, referee and judges and VADA, all eyes on the governing bodies, Canelo actually might not get all the favours he is used to, he will still get some but you never know.

The judges will be next, they will be under so much scrutiny and under real pressure, reputations on the line.

Then the referee will get some pressure, I really like what Team GGG are doing, I like the timing, while Canelo, GBP/Oscar are under serious pressure after his failed test.

People will have to come out and clarify everything long before fight night, no threats of "no fight" now, Canelo has no choice but to fight or he looks even worse than he does now for a number of reasons.

Dodgey inspectors, dodgey judges, De La Hoya is behind all of this not Canelo, hes just a yes sir type of guy. Bricks in his hands and GGG still ate them shots flush on the chin like he was eating cereal. Slurping them shots right up.

As said in a post above, waiting till Canelo has signed on that dotted line before you start bringing everything up is perfect. Theyve got Canelo back in the ring, and now they are exposing everything that was wrong with the first bout to prevent it from reoccurring.

If you are in favour of clean fair competition in our beloved sport, you should be backing GGG to topple Canelo, i know i sure am.

If I was part of Team GGG I'd have gone way OTT, I would be asking for hair tests and all sorts.

I'd now want clarification on wraps in writing.

I'd keep pushing and pushing, I'd speak to any outlet that wanted comment and make this so public it can't be ignored.

Give Canelo more to defend and deal with, give GBP PR problems and get the public outraged and encourage people feeling they want "justice" because a pro Golovkin boxing public puts the judges under very real pressure.

you mean like margarito did with a room full of officials and with Nazim was there looking on?

different method of 'bricking up' but still shows that its not a perfect method of checking

Maybe nobody was watching when Garito was plastering up his fists?
