could happen,, dont see how as the NASC list of priorities that musy rank pretty high due to health and saftey of the fighters but then again its only human error, no ones perfect

but thats my point .. if it went missed against margarito and only got pulled up when nazim was shouting/complaining about it... maybe it when unmissed when canelo was doing it and abel had a right to react angrily?? rather then everyone just saying he was creating drama / been a diva

then again it might just be all mind games,, the klitschko brothers were notorious for gettin fighters to re-wrap just to mess with them and get in their head

it can back fire though i remember reading a story about tyson where a trainer complained about his wrapping (think it was the spinks fight) tyson had to re-wrap.. got mad started punching the walls going mental ..which was leaving a massive thud,,,, spinks heard it.. bricked it and came out petrified and was half beat before tyson even lay a glove on him

What I'd add to this is that now that they know Canelo's team is wrapping his hands like that with no problem, they should "brick up" GGG as well. Maybe they'd change their tune then.

 

My 2c:

There's a few possibilities here.

1) Sanchez really did think that how they were wrapping Canelo's hands was illegal and that's why he threw a tantrum. In that case he was just being honest.

2) He knew it was legal but threw his toys out of the pram anyway in order to unsettle Canelo. Some teams try to get the mental upper hand on the other guy by pre-fight arguments designed to dull the mental edge and distract them from focusing from the task ahead. iirc Fury's lot did that to Wlad.

Just a thought.

 

Agree with this too. Canelo has used his financial clout to get his way thus far. Golovkin's team needs to level the field a little. No need for home cooking again in the rematch!

 

I think Sanchez wants his cut of the money, he also thinks Golovkin has years and different weight divisions ahead of him. He don’t want the money drying up I think!
