Yeah I'll concede that on the basis of Charlo being Mando as well as fresh face that it takes priority over a Jacobs rematch. Not sure that it's a better fight though.

WBC is vacant if Canelo wins, he won't even pay the fee and wants nothing to do with it.

Charlo is more deserving of a shot then Monroe, Wade, Rubio, Rosado, Ouma, etc.

Rubio earned it, and it was GGG getting the shot at the interim title rather than the Martinez fight.
Ouma was the #1 contender behind GGG(interim)to Sturm.

Wade was a IBF f up because Taylor is an idiot.

Monroe and Rosado were stay busy fights while GGG was still busy and both were streaking

Context is lost to most people on here. If Golovkin doesn't fight Charlo because he's busy fighting the likes of Canelo or Saunders then there's absolutely zero way of spinning that as a duck. Won't stop the clowns on here and YTBC channels like Dontae from trying lol.

Rubio beat six chumps between losing to Chavez Jr, and the Golovkin fight. Ouma had lost to Rosado, and Martyrosian, then beat a chump, and fought Golovkin. As a matter of fact Ouma only won two of his six fights between Taylor and Golovkin. Wade was trash, no explanation needed. Rosado was a streaking 154 pounder, and wasn't beating top tier opposition during that streak. He fought for a vacant 154 pound title. Monroe was streaking as well, but again, beating chumps, not top tier opposition, and again, he was a 154 pounder. So tell me again, how Charlo isn't more deserving. He was the IBF titlist at 154, beat better opposition, than Monroe, and Rosado did at 154, and he stopped the guy that he was ordered to fight at 160. Wasn't his fault the guy had a bum wheel. Charlo is more deserving that most of Golovkin's shitty arse opponents.

But he's not more deserving than Canelo or Saunders so your point is moot.

Canelo is a moot point, he already fought Golovkin competitively, and earned a rematch. After Charlo KO's Centeno though, you won't have a point with Saunders. Saunders is no more deserving. Plenty of people on this forum slobbing Saunders down because he outboxed a tubby Lemieux? Lemieux was never all that in the first place. Charlo would have KO'd Lemieux, instead of pity patting him over 12 rounds.

Shoulda woulda coulda. Saunders has been a top MW for years, is a bigger fight and has a piece of the crown. If Golovkin gets through Canelo that fight takes priority.

Also he didn't "Earn." a rematch. There was a rematch clause - that in addition to it's magnitude and then Canelos performance is why the fight is happening again.

 top middleweight for years. Saunders had looked like trash prior to fighting the pudgy French Canadian. His WBO paper belt is probably something Golovkin wants more than a tough fight with a young lion like Charlo though, I'll concede that. Still doesn't take away the fact that Saunders just ducked Jacobs. Saunders will probably fight some bum, and wait on the Canelo vs Golovin winner to give him a shot after their trilogy is over sometime in 2019

Charlo still has Trout problems, why didn't he rematch the man who soundly beat him 8-4, debatably 9-3?

Oooooohhhh, so Scarewwwey, he KO'd J-Rock and a one legged Heiland......

Charlo is a nothing, Abel is right, he's done nothing to earn his shot, he'll lose to every top Middleweight at this point, there's a reason why Haymon is putting him in with the Centeno's and probably next the Aleem's of the world, he sees the same limitations that I do, and wants to milk him for his unearned boogeyman status for all its worth before his glass jaw gets shattered and he becomes a mere afterthought.

Depends on how the 2nd fight goes. But it might be before 2019.

Then he should have called for purse bids?
He's the official mandatory, he refused and decided to settle for an interim belt fight.

Dude had the mandatory status handed to him on a platter. That was almost as bad as Wilder/Scott. Haymon/WBC manufactured BS.
