I'm not against this, if Floyd loses there's no shame at all and does nothing to his legacy if he wins then it'd be amazing.

There's a reason why no one has been able to beat Floyd, because no one he's fought has ever had any clue on how to cut the ring off. Not even Pacquiao, Cotto or De La Hoya.

Golovkin cuts the ring off better than almost anyone I've seen in the last 25 years, including Chavez Sr.

Floyd should swerve GGG like the plague, he has ZERO chance against him.

Of course I'd love to see it though.:hey

    Okay.....:hey
Remember Kelly Pavlik. Golovkin is not fast and I cannot make a judgement on how GGG would do against Floyd or Ward or Lara just based on the level of guys on his resume alone.

He is good against the guys he faced so far but his strategic dodging of excellent boxers to fight C level guys sealed my decision on him. A Floyd fight would be nothing short of a hyped money grab.

    We shall see.

Kelly's one of my favorite fighters, I love Kelly, in terms of watching them I actually prefer Kelly to GGG, that being said he had about 1/8th of the skills that GGG possesses.

And so what, Kelly moved up in weight and was beaten by one of the greatest fighters of the last 30 years easily an ATG, that's nothing to be ashamed of.

Lara was being effectively walked down by a slow plodding caveman and dropped twice against Angulo, Lara offers Golovkin nothing, GGG walks through him in a under 3 rounds, Mayweather is too small, the same would happen with him.

Ward is an entirely different animal for GGG, neither Mayweather or Lara has his inside game, speed, and overall strength edge, that would be a close fight.

Is that why Bumlovkin ducked Andre Ward?

I think it makes perfect sense. Mayweather was embarrassed by the numbers for the Berto fight.

He'll only come back now if he can star in the biggest PPV in boxing history. He won't get it with a Pacquiao rematch.

Floyd will demand Golovkin weigh 155. They'll charge $150 for the PPV and everyone will buy it to watch Floyd get knocked out by Golovkin.

Floyd will take 95% and walk away with a half a billion dollars for one night's work.

And, if he can last the distance against a drained Golovkin, at least one judge will score in his favor.

And, if he wins, he'll have wins over the last three recognized middleweight champions -- Cotto, Alvarez, Golovkin.

    And he'll be 50-0.

And he'll have a legit claim to being the best fighter who ever lived.

    I agree.

Look, seriously, for a second, this is a stupid fight.

Either GGG has to drain himself to a cadaver to get anywhere near Floyd's weight, and becomes damaged goods in the process.

(If Golovkin could easily make 154, he'd have most likely agreed to Canyellow's 155 demands.)

Or Golovkin fights at 160 and Floyd ends up in the morgue.

(If anybody seriously believes even for an instant that PBF beats GGG at 160 they need to check in to rehab before its too late.)

I don't even know why this is being discussed apart from being some hype-making pipedream.

That's how the Cotto, Oscar, Mosley, Pacquaio, Canelo fights sold so well. Find someone people believe will beat you that are getting a lot of hype and fans, then fight them. Golovkin is the new boogeyman.
