Abel Sanchez: Golovkin is the 2nd or 3rd greatest MW of all time

    "Gennady is the best middleweight ever besides Sugar Ray Robinson and maybe Bernard Hopkins,"

    He also says that Stevens is an easier fight than Macklin and that no one from 160 on down can last 12 rounds with Golovkin. He made an interesting comment about Kovalev as well;

    "Hopkins or Froch, because he's a guy with long arms. Those two could go the full 12 rounds with Gennady,...But Kovalev, that's four rounds, and I tell you that because I've had Kovalev in the gym."

    Here's another good quote;

    "The only one who could bring it out of us is Chavez at 168, or a Froch at 168, or a Bernard at 175. Those are the kinds of guys that are talented beyond, just like Gennady is. They're top level. Martinez doesn't want to fight him. Peter just keeps talking."

    This guy believes in his charge big time. I'm excited to see if Golovkin can live up to the hype that his trainer is putting out there about him. He should look sensational against Stevens.

    I am well aboard the GGG hype train but a few comments to make:

    1. Chavez above the others at 168? strong but not concussive power, not committed, slow hands and feet. No chance

    2. I am English, and Froch has heart, would have a physical strength advantage on GGG but thats about it. Froch is too wild and GGG is too accurate.

    3. Hopkins, again would have size advantage and is a wily fox but would not be active enough to outpoint GGG, although prob would go 12 rounds

    who has this guy fought again? he looks like a good fighter but to put him up their with Robinson, Hagler , Monzon or Hopkins is just pathetic

    I agree that Stevens is an easier fight than Macklin.

    Macklin beat Sturm in most eyes except the judges and gave Martinez a good fight, Stevens got beat by Jesse Brinkley lol.

    Everyone say what they will, Chavez is a talent beyond others. What other completely shitty boxer could have such a huge draw with fans and have the powers that be bend all the rules just for him?

    He did. He said Hagler was too small for Golovkin(yet he wants A fight with Mayweather).
