    He says he didn't even really care about the building and boxing before he had Golovkin, and most of the equipments are from the GGG money. He also admits that his gym was unknown before G.

    That's what I said in the GGG made Abel relevant again thread as well. But some DKSAB casuals argued against it.

    About as relevant as Gennady "I don't care about the cash I only want the belts" Golovkin.

    He never said that. He agreed on the first Canelo fight on a 75-25% split. Then he agreed on 65-35% for May, but after Canelo has failed his drug test obviously he wanted 50-50 for September.

    It’s funny how GGG is a lightning rod for criticism. He splits from his trainer he gets hate. I guess everyone expected him to stay with Sanchez forever lol.

    I really don’t understand why so much hate. Because he never moved up? Lots of guys don’t move up. Some guys conveniently move up to avoid challenges in their current division. GGG fought the best he could at 160. Sure he got stripped when he wouldn’t fight Derevyenchenko. But let’s not forget he fought the dangerous Danny Jacobs who was a mandatory BEFORE the Canelo fight. And DJ beat Derevyenchenko so it’s not that bad of a duck.

    What about the part that basically GGG alone made Abels gym a profit? Would he have attracted the same kind of talent without GGG? You only referenced the hyperbole nobody is taking seriously anyway

    And this was before the Brook, Jacobs and the 2 Canelo fight. This dumb probably made like 10 million on Golovkin at least.

    Not surprised though that Golovkin’s wife became furious and told G to wake up. His ex-managers were steeling from him too, and Loeffler was about to get fired.

    Mike Tyson was absolutely right about the blood suckers.

    oddly, the hate i see, if you can seriously call it that, is really nothing compared to the blind defense against any little criticism of ggg. its like ggg has 30 mothers looking out for him on esb.

    This is irrelevant though. He's still doing his job as a trainer. It's not like there was a contract that said part of the pay would be the increased attention his gym got.
