Lool why so mad, it’s a fact that he backed up, I didn’t say he wasn’t effective doing it , all I said was he backed up after talking all that big stuff. See this is why I can’t debate with fan boys, because you guys are too butthurt when it comes to this fight. It was a close fight I had Canelo winning if you had GGG no problem however don’t tell me it weren’t a close fight or that the result was a robbery.

Not mad. Close fight. I was talking about negative GGg backfoot comments. GGg fought brilliant. And for the 3rd fight he needs to use similar strategy. Control the fight using his jab. Create openings. Step in with big shots. Put pressure . And go back to the outside. And start again. No stay in one spot slugfest. That’s for idiots.

I ain’t saying it was negative that he fought on the back foot, I like back foot fighters, the problem is Sanchez built him up as this guy who will walk Canelo down, and Sanchez said GGG didn’t do what he wanted. Really my gripe is with Mexican style crap, GGG didn’t fight ‘Mexican style’ whatever that means. He fought intelligently in his own way working off the jab, not this caveman walk through everything style that he and his team like to act like he was gunna fight.

It just highlights how frustrated they were with how Canelo fought the first fight. GGG couldn't match Canelo's outboxing skill that was on display in the first fight so they baited him into a toe-to-toe war with all the Mexican style stuff. And Canelo obliged and fought that kind of a fight, and won with that kind of fight. So Sanchez and Team GGG now look silly for asking for that style from Canelo, as Canelo fought how they wanted and won that way.

We all know there'd be a lot more *****ing about the decision (and there's still a lot don't get me wrong) if Canelo had won the rematch by fighting how he fought in the first fight. Frankly the judges may not have given Canelo the decision in the rematch if he fought the way he did in the first fight as Team GGG hand picked the judges and kept stressing how important it was to come forward.

What makes this all the more satisfying is that Canelo beat GGG and Abel Sanchez at their own game. Now Sanchez is trying to walk back his post fight comments which had him conceding that Canelo was the rightful victor lol. I mean as much as I would have loved to see Canelo give GGG a boxing lesson again, it was even more satisfying to see Canelo fight GGG toe-to-toe and give GGG a taste of his own medicine, with GGG being forced to fight off the backfoot due to Canelo's relentless aggression.

This is a rare moment that all boxing fans should be able to appreciate. Canelo showed that he could beat GGG, the MW King, with two distinct very different styles. But we know judges these days are very biased towards come forward fighters. And it seems to me that Canelo had to fight the way Team GGG wanted him to, to have any chance of winning a decision. And he did that which you have to respect. But had the judges not been biased towards ineffective aggression Canelo would have been MW King a year ago. If Floyd Mayweather had done to GGG what Canelo did to GGG last year Canelo would have won. But Canelo doesn't get the kind of favorable judging that Mayweather gets for fighting in that knid of a style so he had to adjust his style because Abel and Team GGG rigged the rematch against him. But that just makes it all the more impressive in how Canelo beat GGG and Abel at their own game.
