Abel Sanchez said that Pacquiao would beat Thurman easily. Roach wants the fight badly. Robert and Ricky both pick Pacquiao to win comfortably.

    What do you all think?

I don't think anyone can beat Thurman comfortably, especially a smaller guy like pacquaio. Thurman has skills, and punching power and can fight from the outside if he needs to. It would be a great fight, but I wouldn't be confident picking Pac to beat Thurman comfortably at all. It would be a close fight, either fighter is capable of winning.

Thurman's performance against Garcia suggests to me that he's not ready for a guy like Pacquiao. Thurman had every single advantage over Garcia — power, speed, size, footwork. Thurman was in a position to tee off on Garcia's slow, flat-footed ass and stop him, but he played it safe and even ran in the final rounds. This says to me that he's either not ready to operate at the elite level or isn't elite to begin with. Herrera and PEDerson beat Garcia more impressively, imo.

Boxers who can utilize lateral movement are Pacquaios kryptonite... Thurman has all the intangibles to beat Pacquaio.

I pick Pac also. Thurman has no defense, and is easily disrupted with a jab. Thurman seemed to regress a little after the Chaves fight. Thurman wouldn't outbox Pac.

Thurman didn't have a size advantage over Garcia. Thurman is a small welterweight if you look at his dimensions. Some of you don't seem to have a clue about what you type sometimes.

Pacquaio doesn't really have a good jab, his is more of a range finder to set up his left hand. Thurman can box.

Still a close fight even today. I could see Pac's big fight experience and speed giving Thurman hell. How will Thurman react when he gets hit by shots he doesn't see from weird angles? Pac is also a much smarter fighter now than people give him credit for. Thurman has never fought anyone who fights like Pac. Thurman would probably be the favorite but Pac would be a very live dog.

Even an all but shot Pacman lights up Thurman? LOL. Nice.

The way Thurman ran for his life against a little pressure from flat footed Danny might have something to do with it.
