They both had roughly the same amount of fights..... Seems odd that you're turning a win against the man who's probably going to be 'the guy' in the divsion above into a negative. CEJ would eat Canelo alive.
Not too sure about that. BJS is in the perfect spot right now. Lemieux is better than anything on CEJ's record.....and GGG/Canelo is a bigger fight than anything in front of CEJ.
Much as we'd all like to see that one, I think the real issue is more than both are hoping to get the GGG-Canelo winner. Fighting the other at this stage would be a huge risk which would seriously jeopardise their chances.
The thing is though, Jacobs has already had a shot and failed. Whilst BJS has a belt, is undefeated and is getting hyped by a lot of guys in the sport.
He did, but it was very close and he is gunning for a rematch. But as I said, can't see either he nor BJS being encouraged to step into the ring with each other anytime soon.
It was close and reasonably entertaining. But jacobs has done nothing since to show he deserves the next shot whereas BJS has.
Soon CEJ will have the better win when he beats GG! Hope to see a rematch between BJS and CEJ at some point so we can see who has developed the most
I put a win against GG on a level with Lemeiux. Both are famous for defeats against higher level opponents than their own ability.
Look at all the forums ankle biters yapping and snarling over Uncle Abel telling the truth. Typical prisoners of the moment going into attack mode to placate an agenda.
With the greatest respect to 'Uncle Abel', the guy clearly doesnt understand the boxing politics over the pond. Fish eyes working with hearn is as likely as HBO working with Showtime.
Well its a matter of opinion. I think Lemeiux is too one dimensional, moves around in straight lines, can only fight moving forward. GG has more skills in his backpack imo.
theres no such thing as pricing yourself out if you're the champion. jacobs is the one pricing himself out. if he wants the belt he'd accept any split offered. Remember Horn accepted 5-95 split to face Pacman because he wasnt afraid and knew if he won he would get the earnings back ten fold.
