its really only too early for people who think he is better than he already is after beating some names.

truth is, beating every single fighter at 60 and 68 does NOT make him better than he is, he would be the same fighter just with some bigger names on his victim list.

its pretty funny to me that it takes beating "names" for people to think oh well, now he is elite. the dude is in the elite of the absolute elites.

beating names does NOT make him better, makes his resume better but he is at his peak at 160 as we speak right now and will be at his absolute peak within the next 2 years while destroying the SMW div

Exactly, I don't need to SEE a Ferrari beat a school bus to know which one is faster, I can watch them go around the track to figure it out.

Golovkin does things Toney was physically incapable of doing.
He does things Hagler didn't know existed.
And Roy was just a brief magic show that got figured out and he was then out of tricks.

People, watch any sport from 30yrs ago and then see how far its come. Boxing is no different - it progresses...

Its a trainers job to hype his fighter GGG may well be a future ATG but its a little early to claim it yet. GGG Has the boxing ability he also has the charisma of The Assassin with a smile persona Only time will tell

Unless you happen to be anything other than an African American having success then the sport has evidently regressed. :-(

    Poor brainwashed sheepeople.

They are all great fighters; Toney, Jones Jr and Golovkin but there is same kind of patriotism or something and therefore Toney gets more praise than he deserves imo. If he were so good as some of ESB fans are saying, he should have achieved much more than he did.

I think Jones jr vs. GGG fights at 160 and 168 would be very interesting and competitive. But we already know Roy beats a **** out of Toney. Thats a fact.

Golovkin is the best middleweight fighting today. After a few more fights he will be admired even more...................after his fight with Murray, he hopes to get a fight with Cotto, then a unification fight with the winner of Lee and Quillin. He will knock either one of them out...............

Why does GGGolum have to pick on guys like Encino Man Geale? He always picks safe fights with fighters that can't punch. Who is GGGolum fighting next, the great australian legend Mundine? Why is he ducking Lara?

how can you duck someone who fights in a different weight class? for your information, Geale had won a legitimate title before facing GGG
