Well...... Canelo wanted Lara and Mayweather to stand and trade. Even called them runners. He finally finds someone that is willing to stand and trade and now he doesn't want to?

He isn't pure breed. He is Asian. It is common knowledge that once a white person procreates with a non-white the offspring is non-white.

In applications you see: White, Black, Hispanic, Native American, Asian, you never see Half white-Half black, or Half white-Half-Asian.
    Golovkin is Asian/Oriental.

I'm so sorry to burst you guy's bubble.

It is crying, grow up and GTFOver it.

I want the best man to win. I will be rooting for Canelo as I respect his ability and willingness to be the best moreso than I do GGG's, but ultimately at the end of the fight I want the fighter who won to get the W on his record.

Let's bet then, how much$$$ ? Whether Canelo wins or loses I'm not going anywhere, I've been coming to this website since 2002. I'm a fan of Canelo, but I've followed boxing before Canelo even turned pro. You're confusing me with the Pacturd and likely the GGGoon since their almost identical in the way the nuthug fighters.

It is not common knowledge. The one drop rule doesn't exist outside of the United States. And the one drop rule asserted that "any person with even one ancestor of sub-Saharan-African ancestry is considered black." The rule didn't say that mixed Asian and European people like Golovkin can't be considered Caucasian. There are white Americans that have some Native American ancestry, yet they are still whites.

Not sure that I have ever heard Canelo state that Mayweather ran from him in their fight. I think you may be pulling this out of your ass, I could be wrong, but I have never heard or read anything the suggests that Canelo said anything like that about their fight.

As far as Lara, HUGE difference. Lara was literally running, got his body busted up, and got his eye brow cut up. GGG couldn't even put welts on Canelo's face, not to mention zero body attack.

Golovkin is oriental, look at his facial features, look at his brother, look at his mother. He is not Aryan, he would be killed in prison by Aryans.

I never heard him say that about Mayweather either. And in fairness Mayweather didn't do that much running vs Canelo. (except that one time in the 12th where he got booed for stalling lol) For the most part, Mayweather stood toe to toe with Canelo and used a lot of upper body movement. So much so that he bit on a lot of feints anticipating punches that never came, but he also made Canelo miss while staying in the pocket. Whereas Lara isn't as athletic as Mayweather, doesn't have that kind of elusiveness so he used his footwork more.

At times Lara was backpedaling away from Canelo consistently, to where it did actually look like running, at one point he was backpedaling hard and slipped and fell down trying to get away from Canelo.

Sanchez knows that's GGG only chance of winning because he knows deep down Canelo is the more adaptable fighter in the ring. GGG is like Trinidad fighting in straight lines and when facing a fighter with movement and superb defense their offense is neutralized, and if you can't score the KO its pretty much a wrap. Canelo will win this one big imo.

Floyd stood in the pocket with Canelo, he didn't run neither. What is it with you clowns, do you not understand the sport of boxing? You guys want Canelo to give GGG the chance to KO him but sorry, that isn't going to happen easily. Cut that ring off and force Canelo to brawl it, otherwise GGG will lose and lose ROYALLY this time.

I think a part of this is that whether Canelo wants to just outbox Golovkin again or whether he really wants to make a statement and go for the KO like he said he's preparing for. Personally I'd like to see Canelo come forward more, but that's just the fight fan in me that wants to see a war and wants to see Canelo gain respect for how he fights Golovkin in the rematch. Doing that is more risky, but there's also potentially more reward, if he can catch Golovkin and get Golovkin in trouble.

But you're right, a lot of this too is that Sanchez and many G fans WANT Canelo to be more aggressive so he puts himself in more danger of being KO'd, because that's what they really want, they think that will automatically result in a Golovkin KO. That's what Sanchez is trying to do, to say to Canelo to take more risks, which does play into Golovkin's strengths. But at the same time there's nuance to it, I mean Canelo could surprise Golovkin by coming forward when Golovkin is not expecting it. I mean Golovkin and his fans thought that Canelo would get hurt if he stayed on the ropes too long. Well he did that and didn't exactly get hurt, but in fairness the punch in the 5th round as a result of Canelo staying on the ropes too long did swing the fight and arguably cost Canelo the victory, because that gave Golovkin a much needed boost and momentum. Canelo was trying to prove a point there, trying to do what he was told he shouldn't do vs Golovkin. That punch didn't exactly hurt him, but it did turn the tide and allowed Golovkin to get back into the fight.

So part of this is Golovkin and his fans wanting to bait Canelo into fighting a fight that puts him in more danger and takes away Canelo's advantages, and gives G more chances to hurt Canelo. At the same time, Canelo wants to prove a point as well that he can fight in whatever style he wants, just to prove people wrong. (he did it with going to the ropes and staying there in the 4th and 5th like people said he couldn't do) And maybe he needs to take the fight to Golovkin to win over more fans. I mean, bating Canelo into a slugfest could backfire on Golovkin : Canelo is a big puncher himself, and he knows how to fight on the inside. Canelo could land an even bigger bomb on Golovkin at close range, and drop Golovkin. I mean, both of these guys can punch. It's not like Golovkin is the only one who can punch! If you bait Canelo into a fistfight you might not like how that ends up. I just think it's all about the element of surprise. Canelo I think can be very effective fighting to Golovkin's strengths by surprising Golovkin with aggression. Golovkin is not used to fighters taking the fight to him. He's used to chasing fighters, and in the first fight Canelo made him do that for a good amount of the fight. But it remains to be seen what would happen if Canelo actually took the fight to Golovkin. I mean that's something Golovkin really hasn't had to deal with too often. Many fans want Canelo to do that, Sanchez wants Canelo to fight that way, but that's something that Golovkin is not used to his opponents doing, so it could surprise him and be just what Canelo needs to make a big statement.

Canelo just needs to be more balanced as Sr said. Fight more frequently but maintain a strategy that allows Alvarez to move to set up his offense....not just move to stay on the defensive. Sr was spot on about utilizing body punches more....if there was anything GGG should have done in the first meeting it would have been that. The strategy he went in with was very effective but he neglected Canelo’s body to avoid being countered....so we know he respects Alvarez’s power. We also know Canelo respects GGG’s power based on his defensive posture the majority of the fight.

Lol! We know what that idiot is all about in these forums. Don’t even bother. The geek brought up GGG in that Wilder thread basically saying Gennady “Is 35 and done the same thing doe! And he don’t get hated!” Lol :lol:
