Whats going on with this geezer ?? He's saying " I feel only 1 round between Gennady and Canelo in both fights", then says he's fed up of decisions like this in Boxing. WTF is he on about??? The first fight was wider than 1 round, and the second one, and he chats on like its corrupt ?? If in his opinion theres only 1 round in it, why the whining ?? I don't think he has GGG's back properly. GGG if he wants to continue should try a change in trainer

He has to say that so Canelo doesn't tell GGG to F off. If he gets too brash Canelo will not allow GGG to fight for a third big payday. Sanchez and GGG feel he was robbed both times. They just can't be too loud about it.

Sanchez treats Golovkin like a family, I am sure it has more to do with not alienating Golden boy and Canelo for a third massive payday and big drama show.

Honestly, I'm getting the sense that Abel Sanchez is starting to catch heat from all the Mexicans and his nationalism has stepped in to neutralize some of that negativity. His tune has changed and it's very weird.

    Embarrassing

At the age of 36/37 it’s pointless to change trainer, and probably Golovkin is too “good boy” to fire Sanchez.

But Tom Loeffler is keep complaining about the scorecards on De La Hoya’s Twitter.

After all the trash talk and without belts the earliest date for the 3rd fight is 19 September or 20 May, with 70-30 money split and the judges, gloves, drug testing, etc. gonna be selected by Oscar.

You think it works like that with them, be polite and we'll give you the fight ? I cant see it, Canelo wanted it, GGG definitely wanted it, the fans wanted it BIGTIME, and stupid amounts of money for both, it had to happen. I'm sure if he said my boy Gennady won the first by 3 rounds and the second by roughly the same, the fight would still happen, I cant see the trainers opinion having that much weight or rubbing them up the wrong way surely ??

    From around 16:40

You can see Oscar’s face. Looks like he is still angry on Team GGG (that was stupid from Golovkin in April when he said De La Hoya is also dirty), also would be good to know what Eric says to GGG, he is not happy either.
They won’t treat them well when they are going to negotiate about the third fight.

Or maybe he just agrees with the judges that these were razor close fights that could have gone either way?

And probably most significant ..... GGG being another year older.

Probably he could still outbox him with his jab, but yes if we keep it real in 19 September or 20 May it would be a 50-50 fight.
But this time he was closer to knock Canelo out than last time so who knows.
And also, if Golovkin doesn’t win at least 9 rounds it’s 100% sure that he gets robbed so I don’t know if I wanna see a trilogy fight.

Instead of talking about GGG getting robbed why don't you debate me in my round 11 of the rematch breakdown and punch summary? I always hear such statements like GGG needs to win 9 rounds or he'll get robbed but when it gets down to the nitty gritty I never see the people saying that kind of thing debate punch summaries and go into detail over who won close rounds.

G came closer to knocking Canelo out in the rematch because Canelo decided not to box and fight off the backfoot instead to go toe-to-toe and stay in the pocket all night. Of course Canelo looked more vulnerable in the rematch as he gave GGG what he wanted, a much easier target by staying in the pocket. If Canelo fought the rematch like the first fight he may not have gotten a decision despite being the more skilled technician and counter puncher as he proved in the first fight. But in fighting that way in the rematch, it turned out while he put himself in more danger, he also put GGG in more danger by being in better position to land big shots which he did.

Personally as a fan I would want to see what would happen if they fought again in December. I think most would agree that Canelo would recover quicker than GGG from the rematch if the 3rd fight was made for December. If GGG has all the way to next year to recover it will probably be better for GGG's chances. GGG took more punishment than Canelo took in the rematch, from Canelo's domination in the body punch category and from facial damage as GGG was much more marked up in his face than Canelo was despite both fighters having a cut over the eye.

It's ironic that Canelo is the fighter who wants to fight again in December while GGG is the fighter who has announced he will not fight for the rest of the year. GGG's fans always bragged about how GGG wants to fight at least 3 times a year while Canelo was holding him back only fighting two times a year. It's ironic that now after the rematch, it's Canelo, not GGG, that wants to fight again in December. I think that's telling and shows that GGG was much more hurt and damaged from the rematch than Canelo was. After all he is older so that's understandable but it's also due to the punches that Canelo landed on GGG which were significantly more hard clean power punches landed and significantly more body punches landed which take their toll which are factors that support Canelo winning and indicate that it wasn't a robbery.
