What can he say? Canelo shut his mouth about "running " and "Mexican style " and his fighter GG couldn't back it up in the fight since GG was the one backing up the whole fight and only landed 6 body shots lmfao

So GGG outlands Canelo 234 to 202. Canelo landed more body shots, yes, but that means that GGG landed a lot more head shots. Also, unlike Canelo in the first fight GGG's back was never on the ropes. He knew exactly what he was doing. He controlled the fight.

According to compubox, Canelo outlanded GGG significantly in power punches 143-116. What that means is that Canelo outworked GGG. It's a lot easier to throw a jab than it is to throw a power punch. It's one thing to say Canelo landed more body punhces, but the compubox numbers have Canelo dominating GGG in body punches 46-6. That's a higher body shot disparity than in the first fight. And going into the rematch many said GGG needed to land more body punches. According to compubox, he landed less body punches in the rematch, and not only that but he had a guy coming forward staying in the pocket for most of the night as opposed to a guy fighting off the backfoot, which should have given GGG more opportunities to land body shots, but he didn't.

GGG did control many rounds with the jab, but he didn't control the fight with it becuase it wasn't a leading jab, he was mostly throwing the jab off the back foot or while retreating. Canelo controlled the fight by applying constant come forward pressure on GGG especially in the first 8 rounds. There was a tug of war of control of the fight which ebbed and flowed.

Exactly this, every person with a working brain knows Golovkin won both fights clearly.

I'm insulted. I have a working brain and had Canelo winning both fights.

This is what I mean, GGG showed he can box off the back foot and trounce on the front foot and still not get the nod, corrupt as it gets !

Contradicting yourself pmsl...So controlling rounds isn't winning rounds?? A ****ing leading jab ?? If it lands its a scoring punch if it lands regular, it can control the fight

There is a difference between a leading jab and GGG's jab. It's not a criticism in fact GGG showcased a lot of fluid boxing and managed to throw the jab as he was moving which is a skill. It's just he wasn't throwing the jab emphatically consistent enough to dictate pace like you need to do to win rounds convincingly. Yes GGG threw and landed a lot more jabs than Canelo, but many of them that landed were not hard punches. Some of GGG's jabs were hard, the actual hard clean jab comparison is much closer than the punch stat numbers. Those count a lot of real-time guestimating by the punch stat counters. GGG landed a lot of light range finding jabs. GGG was not able to maintain consistent control of the fight with that jab it was very back and forth. And this is the disconnect we have between the GGG fans that think it was a robbery and everybody else. You are acting like GGG easily won this fight an it was so clear. No it wasn't and you trying to act like it was is silly. I will break down any close rounds and we can compare points and punches.
