    I'm not going to lie, I was excited about finally getting to see a New Year's Eve fight card from Japan. Even though the fights have been a bit one sided, this is still disappointing.

Grazing feel-out hook by Ioka converted into a jab as Pérez backs up. Nice double jab knifed up from a crouch by Ioka. Flurry by Pérez. Top of the head jabs from Pérez, and hard chest jabs from Ioka. They're pecking at each other's guards, playing chess. Looping right by Pérez, blocked. Body shots now traded inside. Nice short combination by Ioka, surprising Pérez with a chopping right and hook.
