I don't know... Moreno is as slick as they come... and a southpaw. I don't think that Mares will be able to hit him cleanly enough to get the KO. He doesn't punch straight enough for a guy like Moreno. I really respect Mares, but it's a bad style match up for him.

Moreno is not at mares level imo, and mares is the more pvoven at high levels, also I'm banking on Moreno to crumble with pressure specially to the body as I've seen him bothered by lesser opponents pressure... I see it as most likely decision win for Abner but hoping on tko

 

such a great fight. Moreno will box his ears off imo and win a close decision that should be much wider. If it's close expect Mares to get the nod on the cards

 

Huge fight, much antecipated bout which will put the leading guy finally in this division. Mares has the willpower and the warrior's heart to have fought that draw toe to toe with Perez and to have come back from a knockdown, bruises and a cut to turn it around and win against Darchinyan in taht 4 men tourney and then Agpeko twice. Moreno has that slick southpaw style and he won concincingly against Vic so who knows? A must see fight.

 

Great fight coming up this weekend. I see a close decision and plenty of action. Mares will be the aggressor, Moreno will be effective boxing.

 

This will be a great fight. I like Mares to win but i see a Moreno close UD.

Moreno is a slick muther****er, he'll need to win no less than 8 clear rounds to get the decision though...

 

I'll be staying awake through the night to watch this, should be a great fight. I'd give Moreno the edge and wouldn't be surprised to see Mares fight dirty. :yep

Mares will stop Moreno in 9. Anselmo wont be able to keep Abner off of him. Mares is going to look like a beast, he has speed, great timing, a very nice jab, great body work and willing to test his heart and chin. Mares is the whole package, one of THE best.
