If Nonito fights the way he did against little man last fight, he'll get beaten by Abner, but then again, Abner is about to get that ass whooped AGAIN by King Kong.
Donaire did what he had to against a negative and extremely cagey opponant...Mares is pretty much made for Donaire.
No he didn't do what he had to do, he was shitty and ineffective and fought stupidly. He did not adapt at all and looked terrible for it.
How is Mares anything like Navarez? He won't need to make those adjustments against a pretty generic and hittable pressure fighter like Abner. Mares is way more like Montiel than Omar.
Donaire vows no more boring fights.. http://www.philstar.com/thedeanscorner/articlescontent.aspx?articleid=745203&publicationsubcategoryid=69 Yeah, right Runito. You got booed 3 fights i have seen you in.lol.
So what. I forgot my score for the card, but I had the little guy winning atleast 2 rounds. Either way Nonito showed he was incredibly simple and 1 diminsional in that fight.
I guess you didn't watch the Montiel fight, tsk tsk tsk.. If you did, then you should know how exciting Nonito CAN be.
I saw that I guess you didn't watch the mathalane, Marquez, Concepcion, Narvaez and even the Darchinyan fight. Nonito is good, but he is overrated in a sense that he is not as exciting as Pacquiao. He is too economical with his punches, he waits to long, does not go full blast at his opponent but i did see him open up against Narvaez but still he got booed.Counter punchers rarely get love. :rofl
If you have the kind of defense Mares has, you won't stand a chance against Donaire. That Left Hook hurts!
I'd rather see Donaire fight Mares at 118 for a shot at undisputed bantamweight supremacy than anyone that he could potentially face at 122. And if the fight must be at 122, then I still prefer this matchup over any other at the weight.
