    Morel opens up with a solid right hand on Mares. Morel keeping distance with his jab and footwork gets him out of the corner . Morel lands another ight hand. Nice right hand by Mares.Nice uppercut from Morel in the flurry. Hard right hand from Mares and Morel hangs on and is thrown to the canvas.

    Gave the round to Morel from this work earlier in the round.

    I think it's pretty much a given that Donaire will be an ATG. Garcia looks good, too, but I want to see him fight somebody that can fight back, first. There are lots of good Mexican brawlers who fall apart when opponents fight back.

    Morel circles left and jabs. Mares tilts forward, guard up. Mares doubles his jab downstairs. BIG COMBO TO THE HEAD BY MARES!! MOREL HURT, HOLDING!!! They split up and Morel trades with Mares, having no choice!! Mares is winging hooks at him up close and Morel has to fight back. Mares jumps in and jabs the body. Overhand right by Mares. Morel circles left, arms down, peering shrewdly at Mares. Now right. Now left. Morel keeps changing speed and direction. Left jab from outside by Morel. Mares pokes in some jabs of his own from outside. BIG right to the body. Counter uppercut by Morel. They're brawling!!! This is Mares' game. Morel keeps ducking and falling in with overhand rights. Mares keeps putting him in check with left hooks catching him on the way down. BIG COMBO TO BODY AND HEAD BY MARES!!! MORE!!!! MAS MAS MAS!!!!! YES! HARD PUNCHES TO THE BODY!! KILL HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Morel tries to hold and Mares slams him with an overhand right, rabbit punch, BEAUTIFUL!!

    Mares hurts Morel with a big right almost dropping him, but Morel stays up and fights back. Hard right to the body from Mares. Morel doing nothing, abandoning his jab and allowing Mares to walk him down. Mares throws hard left to the body and then follows up with a right to his head. Mares gets inside and bands Morel to the body and head. Mares is starting to unload on Morel and Morel has no answers.
