    Grey asks Morel if he feels the version of himself from a decade ago could have beaten Mares tonight.

    Morel says nah, Mares would have even beaten a younger version of himself.

    Grey asks what he felt the difference felt like in there, besides Mares just being physically superior. Morel says it was as simple as Mares being better, a great fighter. He says a lot of people will have problems against him.

    I disagree with your take on Mares not showing power. Morel has always had a excellent chin, Abner was landing some very hard shots, that might have taken out a number of other 122 pounders with not so world class chins.

    That's how I see it. It wasn't so much that Mares's punches aren't hard but Morel has a hell of a chin. Mares isn't the hardest puncher in the weight but he has decent power and he landed many clean hard shots tonight that would have put others down.

    I used to think so but Mares has improved his defense and Donaire has looked pretty average in his last 2 fights.

    at this point i would say it is something like 55-45 Donaire because of his size and power.
