    On the Marquez/Vasquez IIII undercard.

    I like Abner a whole lot and will be pulling for him in this match but also I'm a bit skeptical if this would be a bit too early in his career. I was surprised with Perez's ability to box and keep a cool head while under heavy fire (and headbutts) in the Agbeko fight and feel he would keep his belt against the youngster. Whether Mares wins or loses, I'm sure this will be a good one.

    This one was tough. I initially leaned towards Perez but thought about Abner's speed advantage and changed my mind. Can't wait. This should be a very good one.

    i've seen mares but i think Perez takes him . Mares is a good fighter but never even faced a top 10 let alone top 15-20 guy. Perez has to Top 10 fights back to back Knocking out Mabuza and beating Abeko. i think Perez stop Mares in 7. take that to the bank

    This could end up looking a lot like Williams-Martinez. I favor Perez close, just because we have yet to see how Mares will be able to handle constant pressure.
