why was Lenroy Thomas allowed to do a no show on the week of the fight? I thought you had to sign a contract when signing a fight? I'm positive u can't do what he done without any consequences minus not being paid. Does anyone know the situation here?
Well if he relied on the "I have a virus" excuse it's probably provided for in the contract. He claimed he is ill but Dave was saying he suspected Kenny Porter didn't want to be inconvenienced since Shawn has a fight this weekend. There are hundreds of instances where a fighter has clearly used the "I'm ill" or "I'm injured" excuse to back out of a fight. It's just part of the sport unfortunately. It's probably not hard to pay a private doctor to write a phony report.
