Was there ever talks of rematch? I just find it strange when people don't rematch. I feel like it's always better for a fighter to prove he can beat those that beat him. Like Lennox did. You always go for the rematch. Amir Khan never rematched Presscott, that's a mark that will never go away. But I like Lemieux, seems like a no non-sense guy and doesn't strike me as someone who is scared but he should have rematched those guys.

Just more evidence that this fight being on PPV is a J O K E.

I think after those losses David changed most of his team and maybe that showed that he wanted to move on and just leave those losses in the pass?

I thought he edged Alcine by the way, and was actually surprised that Alcine got the nod in Canada.
Rematches in both cases were clearly justified.

Rubio became the WBC mandatory challenger and I don't think he wanted to lose his potential payday with Martinez.

Now he can't even make 160 lbs and after his loss to GGG a rematch would be completely pointless.

I thought they exposed his limited boxing ability. He's really just a puncher and not much else. If you have some tools, a good chin, or maybe just a strong punch of your own then he's nothing to worry about.

Anybody who thinks the Lemieux who fought Rubio and Alcine is the same guy who beat Rosado and N'Dam DKSAB. Conditioning/stamina, pace and punch selection are night and day.

Well since Cotto got owned by a featherfist Trout and really lost against Clottey I guess that means Canelo-Cotto is a joke as well. Oh but no Cotto has improved.....but what Lemieux hasn't?:-(

Mayweather facing a guy who was beaten senseless by Ortiz and Guerrero and got stopped by Soto-Karass that was a ****ing joke.

A kid losing to a KO artist at 22 in his first big match is no big deal, Badou Jack getting KO'd by Derek Edwards is a much biger deal most should have written him off after that according to your logic, but he comes back and beats Dirrell and Groves, so get over your anti-GGG-Lemieux hang up. All of you are such hypocrites.

Floyd ''TBE'' lost to a guy (an unofficial loss but everyone knows he got a gift and who the real winner was :yep) who had been beaten 4 times inside the distance. :rofl

He can rematch them after GGG takes his title and KO's him.

And he had to rematch a guy who was dropped by and lost Amir Khan:rofl And was schooled by a decrepit El Terrible with a golfball hanging off his eye:rofl

Are you talking about the same guy I think you are? The crude one-dimensional gaucho brawler from The Pampas who was shut out 10-0 by Devon Alexander whilst the gaucho brawler was wearing puncher's gloves, the brand of gloves that ''TBE'' outright refused to allow him to wear even though they were approved by the commission and perfectly legal?

The crude gaucho brawler who also lost to Kotlenik and was dropped by an 8-4-1 scrub and like he'd been shot in the face at point blank range with an elephant rifle by a 13-9-3 one?

That ''decrepit El Terrible'' was about 5000 years old in ring years. The scary thing is that shell of El Terrible came within a whisker of beating the gaucho brawler too, whilst fighting blind in one eye for the vast majority of the fight.

You're right about it looking like a golfball. :-(
