You are the one who wrote off Chris Eubank Jr. for dropping a split decision to Billy Joe Saunders, bud.
And what Rubio exposed of Rubio exactly. Lemieux hit Rubio like a mad man for the first six round, Rubio never punching back, staying in his shell. Than Lemieux gassed, Rubio got him behind the ear, and Lemieux's corner stop the fight. Guerrero would probably beat Rubio by now, same goes with N'Dam. As for the Alcine fight, I had Lemieux winning by one round. I was a split decision, a pretty good and competitive fight against a hungry former world champion. Lemieux is not all time great, but he is a legit champion. Nobody was giving him chance after those defeats, while I still thought he was going to be world champion, which he is right now. Also, he will shock the boxing world next weekend.
Cheering for the Canadian :nod Let's go Lemieux, but he's going to lose bad. Let's hope he gets in on Golovkin and hurt him.
Eubanks has one close loss against a better fighter than either of the guys Lemieux lost to and you wrote him off. You are saying that people who write Lemieux off for two losses against journeymen are hypocrites and that we shouldn't count one or two early losses against a promising young fighter. I'm just pointing out your lack of consistency.
What evidence do you have that Eubank Jr. was ever any good to start with, I've never thought so. Billy Joe Saunders beat him 8-4 and then he had a big comeback by holding and smothering Chudinov for 8 rounds until he tired his ass out with the Brit ref letting get away with anything he wanted in that dirty ass match and then the ref stopped the match prematurely on top of that. Eubank will never amount to anything he doesn't have the power or the ring IQ for it, and quite frankly I wouldn't write off Rubio, Rosado or N'Dam beating him right now.
Wlad had THREE losses to B and C level fighters, but he is in top 3 p4p now. People who are talking about "Rubio leftovers" are plain stupid.
Billy Joe Saunders outboxed Eubank Jr, but it was a very narrow victory. Saunders won the early rounds and Eubank won the later rounds. Eubank was obviously the superior athlete, but he lacked Saunders experience, and his corner gave him a bad game plan. He'd probably win a rematch just by not being so timid early on and starting late. Then he looked phenomenal against Chudinov. Physically, he's as good as any middleweight not named Golovkin. Mentally, there are still some question marks surrounding his ring IQ and toolbox. However, at the moment I might favor him or Saunders over Lemieux. I'd favor Andy Lee over Lemieux and possibly Danny Jacobs too.
Wow you're really overrating Eubank Jr. So he beat Chudinov which means what exactly? He was the better man in a dual between two cavemen. He didn't look phenomenal doing that, he held onto Chudinov like he was his girlfriend for the first 8 rounds, he looked awful and that was a very dirty fight. Saunders beats him again, Lemieux KO's him, as does Lee although I do give him a slight shot at stopping Jacobs, I'm not even sure he gets past Spike in December.
