It was a lesson. Marquez won convincingly. Pac is a great fighter, but Marquez has his number. If Pac wasnt such a cash cow it would, and should be 3-0 Marquez in their trilogy.

 

Robbery of the year, countless boxers, trainers, journalists saw Marquez winning by a wide margin.
Less than 15% of people in polls thought Pac won.

Honestly giving Pac more than 4 rounds youd need to severely stretch the fabrics of reality when it comes to the rules on how boxing is scored.
Even scoring it a draw would have been a robbery.
Having it for Pac is just plain bribed judges.

It wasn't even close to being robbery of the year, that award unquestionably goes to Lara Williams. Hell Chisora Helenius was worse! The reason everyone keeps on going on about that fight is coz Pacquiao has so many haters on this forum. Remember, Pacquiao threads will be full of Mayweather fans and vice versa, so any of these threads must be taken with a large pinch of salt...

Here is how it works. *****s thinks in stereotypes who one way or the other is related to Floyd. They cant think beyond these. Like:

Pac= one dimension (unlike Floyd)

Marquez=slick (a bit like Floyd)

Therefore:

Marquez hit on Pacs guard=Marquez school Pac with his counter skills.

Pac hit Marquez in the face=Marquez schools Pac with his defensive skills.
