    troll, i'm just referring about pure K.O power and NOT about skills and greatness ! :nut:patsch


    i'm just saying that Stevenson has notable K.O power comparable with that type of K.O power that Hearns and Jackson had in their primes. Indeed he's raw and he doesn't have too much skills and a good boxing I.Q but his power its dope .... :yep

    His power is legit. You can watch the replay or slow mo. This guy is one of the true power punchers in boxing right now. Froch better watch out!

    Some quotes from Steward about Stevenson's punching power :

    “Adonis Stevenson has unbelievable punching power, focus and intensity. His intensity is the same in the first and last round, which is unusual, and he runs every morning and evening. One night I looked out my window and saw somebody running in a blizzard. It was Adonis. He lived 2-3 miles away and it was a Sunday. He said he was bored and came over to watch boxing tapes. I’ve had many world champions but his punching power and intensity is not normal. I’m very excited about Adonis and I can’t see any 168-pounder not having a very tough time against him. He will definitely be world champion the first opportunity he gets."


    Stevenson's promoter, Yvon Michel, told to scene : "according to Emanuel Steward, Adonis Stevenson reminds him of power hitter Dick Tiger"

    stylistically, both would be a nightmare for him but as many people say: he has a puncher chance :hey

    Kovalev/ Pascal or Froch vs Stevenson would be some good action packed matches :yep


    I wouldn't mind to see Stevenson vs Bute instead of Pascal vs Bute next in December ...

    Stevenson has got hunger on his side.
    He's not going to let go his title easily, as did Cloud vs Hopkins. So that makes him very dangerous for the next 2-3 years.

    I'm not sure Froch, Ward, Hopkins wants any part of him.

    stop it dude steward himself said stevenson power is not human and hes never seen anything like that what other proof do you need to say his power his at least equal with hearns....damn haters.

    pascal and especially bute would get Knocked out easy no interest in these fight.
    stevenson already knocked bute out in sparring and bute never wanted to spare with him again since then ;)

    Ok.

    He has power, but its far far far too early to tell if he's got Jackson-esque power, Juan Manuel Lopez kayoed Ponce De Leon in one round and people were sucking his balls for it and calling him some p4p monster puncher.

    Julian Jackson-type punchers are proven in due time, Stevenson, whilst a good puncher.. is not in that category yet.

    Froch keep his hands too low and he fights a bit clumsy against someone like Stevenson this could be bad..

    Froch would have to fight smart take the fight to the later round where he would have the advantage but if he disrespect Stephenson power he will be :dead

    Bellew or Vegas(if Bellew won't travel), then a big fight against someone like Hopkins or the Rodriguez/Grachev winner :bbb. I believe the WBC now allows their champions to fight anyone in their top 5 or the Silver/ International Belt Holder as their mandatory. A fight with Vegas would be a pretty tough sell but he won't have many other options for his mandatory if Bellew complicates things.

    :lol::lol:. Stewards says it.. So it must be true.. Aight. Hearns had a long track record of KO'ing world class fighters in multiple division, again, Stevenson is: 20 bums and glass jawson.
    Pascal would stop Stevenson if he still is the guy he was 2 years ago.

    I think Chad being an absolute mess was a bigger factor in his loss than Stevenson's power. No offence to him.
