I will never ever defend a ducking fighter…but for godsake can we not let Cotto milk the belt for one huge money fight and THEN take on GGG?? He was after Mayweater or Canelo …both decent fights. He didn't get either and is now stuck having a stay busy bout before taking one or both these guys.

If he beats K9, canelo, and Mayweather (if he beats Pac) …then he should fight GGG.

If he was sitting on the belt (Felix Sturm style) thats one thing….but those are all good fights above.

No way. Cotto is the 160 lineal champ. How about fighting the best fighter in you're own division first before looking to other divisions. Then taking on a money fight. Milk this milk that. No. Fight the best guy.

The problem is we are all pretty damn sure Cotto will never defend against #1 GGG. :bart

I'll give him credit - his history says he's never ducked anyone. He didn't have to fight Austin Trout and he didn't have to step up to challenge Martinez…but he did. He also fought EVERYONE in his young days.

The difference between GGG (probably $3 million) and Canelo ($6-8m) is friggin huge. Canelo v. Cotto is a damn solid fight. I mean…you cannot blame him for taking that money.

Honestly I see him dropping the belt if he defeats Cotto. He'll retire or go to 154. That takes more pride than sitting on the belt fighting bums - I don't see him holding the belt hostage like these garbage Euro "champs" do.

Kid Undercard turned the fight down before he had a belt and before the HBO/Haymon bullsh*t. GGG fought Makoto Fuchigami instead.
    That was in May 2012.
Last year Kid Undercard and Schaefer were running off at the mouth again so K2 called their bluff and sent an offer.
Schaefer all of a sudden lost interest and wanted to talk about networks trading fighters.
You are out of your element on this, you cuckold wigger doofus:lol:

J.izzy J.izz is very threatened by GGG. In his made up world - black guys rule the sport with a thug attitude and he tries to self identify with that. Guys like GGG are crushing his world and he is desperately trying to convince himself that every weight class above 147 isn't ruled by decent people.

Unfortunately he only has a few doll sized idols left in the lower divisions, and the Europeans are once again taking over his folk...

I'm curious if Golovkin will ever get that star-making fight.
    I agree.
