That Hatton is apparently alright. I was rather scared for him at the moment of the KO, especially with his head bouncing off the mat. Kudos to any man or woman who steps into the boxing ring and fights. What a devastating performance and knockout.
I felt physically sick watching it but man did he just bulldoze in with no finesse. It was like he was going 'over the top' in WW1. No chance. No chance at all.
actually thats how most people envisioned it to play out..except, he was the one who got knocked out...Pac was at par with Hatton's strength thats why his plan of trapping Pac failed
I knew Hatton was ****ed as soon as Pac started landing. I didn't think he'd get out of the first round.
I agreed. I was excited when Manny caught him and than my stomach sank when they showed Ricky on the canvas. His eyes looked so glazed, so incoherent that I was genuinely concerned for his health. Sometimes, you get caught up in all the excitement and publicity and hype of a fight that you forget these fighters are risking a lot every time they step into the ring. I have a lot of respect for Ricky, and I hope everything checked out in the post fight examination. i also hope that Ricky goes on holiday and thinks long and hard about hanging up the gloves. He's had a fantastic career, and while I think he will fight again, I hope he doesn't.
