I'm cheering for Froch, but Abraham KO in the mid-rounds. Froch gets hit too much and will tire relatively early. I don't think he fend off AA for 12 rounds.

Can't wait, though. This is the best matchup of the round robins. Would love to see Ward/Abraham at some point.

    +1

I love both these guys. Don't know who I WANT to win and I don't know who WILL win. Got money on Froch by points or AA by KO.

And AA is certainly not better than Pascal either. Also remember that AA is a natural middleweight is now facing the biggest and toughest mother****er in his career.

Froch wins on points or late stoppage

The Under hedged with Froch to win is the clever bet here, methinks.

this will be a close fight. however my analysis is this, froch has longer reach and will Jab and move a lot more in this fight AND NOT trade with AA. AA will do what he usually does punch with his classic straight line attack.

no matter how i look at it and i have looked at all kind of strategies i just think froch is the more skilled fighter and mixed it with some high calibre of people. i just can't see AA doing anything different i really can't.

Sure froch has disadvantages such as his defence but i think its a little misleading as he is difficult to hit clean as he moves away and punches from a distance due to his arm length/reach, and his reflexes. AA is obviously not going to out-work froch but may land a few bombs and froch will need to suck them up a little BUT do not underestimate frochs power at SMW -something AA has YET to taste don't forget.

To summerise i can see a UD/SD for froch as he will a little more to the table then AA as he just doesn't throw enough punches.

    Froch, UD....

I saw some real bad signs from AA's first fight against a legit SMW in dirrell. That was the fact that dirrell was knocking him around even when AA blocked his shots. I don't think AA is overwhelmingly strong at SMW. Froch and his stiff power will be doing the same thing and it never looks good to judges to be knocked off balance even when the shot is blocked. Froch also has the looping shot to go around AA's guard and stanima to keep the pressure on AA. One thing I don't think froch can do that dirrell did was go to AA's body. Dirrell put alot of pinpoint jabs and straights to AA's belly button. Bothered AA so much that he started complaining instantly at the legal punches to a point that he was ignored when he actually got hit with a low blow later in the fight. Froch doesn't have to speed to lead off like dirrell did but he should be able to mix in a body shot 3 or 4 punches into his combination. I don't think AA will have too much steam late in the fight from froch battering him. I do see froch hitting the canvas atleast 1 time from an AA straight right. Still have froch taking the UD.

Abraham was outboxing Taylor before the KO. Froch was outboxed by Taylor before the KO.

i agree lastletter. I think we should also throw into the mix AA just doesn't throw enough punchs. He relys on a few power shots a round to win rounds and then he jumps on them. Froch is a VERY strong SMW, he will nick the close rounds due to the fact he throws more punches per round then AA. that could be the deciding point.
