...he got injured in the 2nd round vs. Marquez yesterday night.

It first happened in preparation for the Elcock fight 1 year ago.

Against Miranda, he got a bruise to his ribs for a 2nd time.

Still, he has the right set of mind that he doesn't let it bother him that much...

I missed the fight, but from what I've heard, Marquez wasn't able to hurt Abraham at all, and Abraham was landing his right hand very well.. Abraham needs to let those ribs heal though, even if he has to take a couple of months off from training.. I'd hate for his ribs to become a huge issue in a big fightin the future..

I don't think it's very smart to tell everyone that he's vulnerable to body shots.

Or he's just acting to lure in his future opponents...

As long as he keeps pulling at his drawers fromthe first round on, few will notice it...and few will try coming in that close to do it, if it opens up the way for his right hand.
Abrham got the other guys respect inthe first and second round, by hitting him, instead of the normal wait till the guy has lost a hair of early speed.
The other guy did ok, and was a shock that he quit with a minor cut, out side Abraham was aiming for a KO in the next two rounds and the guy decided he had a life he wanted to keep with out being made punchy. Wize...but that is his last fight....no one will pay him to quit again.

Age too caught up with him, at 37 vs a young 28...the reflex loss is there.

Abraham is tough. I think he could unify the division.

I have always thought Abraham could Ko Pavlik. Pavlik is a good fighter, but gets hit too much and likes to brawl. That is how Abraham like opponents to fight. If Pavlik wants to stand and trade punches with Abraham, I don't see him winning. Abraham covers up well with a peek a boo defense, has a rock solid chin and explodes with big time punching power.
