Abraham Bozic - What Happened?

how does it embarrass boxing that a guy retires from a fight after breaking his hand on his opponent's elbow.

those sort of comments from fans embarrass boxing

 

He should be embarrassed of throwing such a punch. Hes a professional and i hope it wasnt as bad as it seems.

 

maybe im cynical, but when i get informed that two bookmakers have stopped taking bets on round betting because of a shed load of money going on round 2 i get suspicious, then when a fighter proceeds to pull out in round 2 it does look a bit suspect.

 

According to Sportbild.de the doctors did not diagnose a broken hand. It looks like Bozic took the cheap way out.

If Bozic should be embarrassed for throwing a more or less textbook hook to the body but having his wrist at slightly off angle and thus landing on a different part of the hand than the typical front-knuckle...well, Chris Arreola should be humiliated over 100% of his "punches".

 

I just read that there was no broken bone or any other injury found in Bozic´s hand.
He has already returned to Las Vegas.
Abraham´s coach, Ulli Wegner, said that Bozic felt AA´s power and was afraid of him, so he returned to Las Vegas.
