Abraham can definitely put Pavlik away...

Taylor, who is not such a big puncher had Pavlik down badly and nearly out. Abraham punches much harder and Pavlik's defence isn't that great.

However, AA is a slow starter and seems to do nothing but hide in the double guard for the first half of the round before opening up. That could be a big mistake against Pavlik.

Either way though, AA vs Pavlik will be a great fight. :happy

If AA can hit Pavlik with his solid punch . . . yeah no doubt about it . . . unfortunately there's more chance that Pavlik will hurt him first than the otherway around.

Once Pavlik hurt you . . . there's gonna be no stopping.

    its weird

right now id lean towards AA over Pavlik
    but Taylor over AA easily
    whereas Pavlik already owns JT

    I'm ACTUALLY not surprised

The fight should happen...There's no excuse for it not too. You get the best two fighters in the MW class taking going nuts for the belt.

Based on the Ayala fight I just don't know, if Pavlik's straight punches can find a way through his tight guard then I see Pavlik coming out on top, I don't know how well he would adapt if Abrahams defence was too tight. It would seem that Pavlik would outwork Abraham generally but AAs power looks to always be a threat (though he does telegraph his punches a little too often.)

****, if they can make Abraham vs Pavlik happen, and if I don't lose my lifetime ban bet on Hopkins/Calzaghe, I may do another lifetime ban bet (favoring Pavlik)

Kelly Pavlik dominates this dude ... he can't box ... if they fight the fight doesn't last 5 rounds. and Kelly knocks this dude out flat !! no TKO or stoppage ... he knocks this guy out cold ... I don't care how good his chin is ... the accumulation of punches will wear him out.

So therefore Abraham can't stop Pavlik?

He's not even in Calzaghe's class, being that Abraham should actually be favoured over him.
