i like pavlik , enjoy watching him fight , hope he continues to fight often so i have the plerasure of watching him.

you it seems are a domestic fight lover only and rule out whole continents of fighters because of it.

You don't know much about boxing, do you? This guy beat Miranda by decision, sticking it out despite having his jaw broken in SEVERAL places. He has also beat Kofi Jantuah, Kingsley Ikeke, and Sebastian Demers. His resume is on par with Pavlik's. Still, I pick Pavlik, who's the more balanced fighter of the two.:good

I agree, most of Mirandas fight was on the backfoot but Pavlik still took a few big blows.

all 3 of those divisions that you name 196 suck and get no pub in the US ... you see what happened to Hamed ... you seen what happened to Hatton ... and Calzaghe will soon taste the same fate as his stable mate Maccarinelli.

    those division are terrible ...

no one gives a **** that Haye is a cruiserweight champion ... but the Europeans ... no one gives a **** that Hatton is a champion (I like Hatton) he was exposed by PBF and will never fight in the US again ... it has many believing that his career is over.

Calzaghe will soon get knocked out ...

Matey, it's such a shame that the reason most of the world hates Americans is because they only come into contact with arrogant, nationalistic arseholes like you. I have a lot of friends from all over the USA and many people are surprised when I tell them what decent folk they (and many others I have met) are. I hate it when a nation gets tarred with the same brush but when I see people like you at least i understand why it happens. Damn shame.

The old solviet Union is about boxing and technique ... nothing good has came out of Germany as of late ... England sucks ... Haye is in Turkey now ... Calzaghe will lose and whoever tought him how to box needs to be shot. (he's fast but not a boxer)

Actually AA has a great resume loaded with contenders and prospects:

Jantuah, Ikeke, Miranda, Demers, Ghevor, Elcock, Eastman and now Ayala. All are solid fighter.

Pavlik's overall resume is actually lacking, but he does have Taylor on his resume and that makes him the champ (though I think Taylor lost both fights to Hopkins and to Wright as well).

He ain't done too bad for a 'non-boxer'. Next we'll have a 'non-swimmer' winning the 100M breaststroke at the Olympics?
