Abraham claims to be negotiating with Pavlik.

Has kelly ever fought somebody with the punching power of Abraham. He could get sparked

 

AA has to win against Stieglitz first. While Stieglitz may have been the weakiest of the SMW belt holders, he is no bum or anything. You have to earn a win against him. If AA manages to repeat what he did in the last fight and if Pavlik wins his next fight(s), then it would be interesting to see AA vs. Pavlik. I would favor Pavlik over AA but only slightly. It's a matter of confidence. If AA can regain his confidence to pick guys apart whenever he wants to, then he may be able to do what nobody has done by now (to knock Pavlik out). If it goes to the cards, Pavlik wins the fight. The only thing I would rule out is Pavlik winning by KO since AA is probably the toughtest and best chinned fighter in the division.

 

He has - Miranda has also freakish power (if he connects)

 

Would love to see the fight. Always thought it was fight Kelly could/should win but Abe always brings a sturdy beard and heavy hands. A few years late but whatever they should make it happen.

 

Have Pavlik ever done anything about MW, worth mentioning besides loosing to Hopkins.

Miranda hits hard.
Martinez is well able to crack.

I dont think Pavliks chin is all that worrying.

He took some massive shots from Taylor and came back and won.

 

I havent seen much evidence of this.

In his last big fight, he got beaten over 12 hard rounds by a guy in the top p4p in the world right now,and had him down at one point.

His only other loss was against a future HOFer who was campaigning 2 divisions above Pavlik.

Since Martinez hes fought mediocre opposition and won.

He didnt look great in some of those fights,but "shot"?

I dont see it.

 

Rubio was a decent win too, paticularly the way he dismantled him. He's been in there and done 12 with Hopkins and Martinez too, and he's stopped a lot of tough guys like Zuniga etc. good fight imo

 

I can see Pavlick winning as he has the reach. Will be good to watch as both have iron chins and heavy hands.

Kelly is a big hitter but Abraham might have the best chin in boxing. Dude has lots of heart too. The Miranda fight was probably one of the bravest/stupidest things I have ever seen in boxing.

It is obvious in order to trouble Abraham you have to be able to box and not get hit very much. Kelly gets hit and when those big hooks from Abraham start landing they will do alot of damage. I can actually see Pavlik stopped for the first time here. Not to mention he is past his prime now.

 

Rubio was coming off a life and death experience against Ornelas. Compared to Pavlik's other title defenses, he's definitely a breath of fresh air.

 

i think i would lean towards Pavlik by outworking him in a SD. Would be a good fight and he should travel to Germany for it.
