What ****in planet do you stay on, Abraham wasnt killing anyone, he is over-rated big time, finally left Germany and got found out simple as that, he was getting schooled like a ***** all night, STFU
Both times when Dirrell was offbalance, it was in Abraham corner. <<<Sounds like Abraham corner didn't wipe the wet spot.
You expect a man to continue after a five minute rest after being KTFO? Doubt he was KO'd? Don't take my word for it, take AA's. He said it was a KO. http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=215100
Smoger really doesn't like people breaking rules. He deducted a point for a late hit in Pavlik/Espino. In his instructions he says "honor the bell". He is a judge in real life so to him he sees it differently.
I´m from germany and I was rooting for AA before the fight and predicted he would win it. But I really lost some respect for him. The DQ was correct and instead of making excusses he should apologize for the illegal punch. I think he should admit he was caught in the heat of the moment and did a mistake. He wasn´t the first fighter to punch someone, who is down, and he won´t be the last one. So I don´t think it was mean spirited, but it was dangerous and bad judgment. I hope he can win me back, he was one of the few german based fighters who has the potential to be an international boxing star. Now regarding Dirrell, I´m glad he is ok, probs to him. He learnd the right lessons from the froch fight. He was active and effectiv with his counters. He was quick and powerful. I don´t think AA would have scored the ko in the 11th or 12th round. There was a higher chance the fight would have been stopped because of the cut. AA got some shots in, but it didn´t look like he was taking over the fight. Dirrell still had enough in the tank and would have countered AA as he did the whole fight. With AA a KO is always possible, but it sure didn´t look like it in this fight. I was really impressed with Dirrell´s performence and feel sorry for him , he deserved to leave the ring as a smiling winner after a well earned ud after 12 rounds. Oh and I don´t think he was acting after AA´s punch. Sure there was a delayed reaction, but that doesn´t mean anything. A body can react in "strange" ways to a punch. Sometimes the body isn´t working anymore, before the brain even realizes it. Sorry my english sucks, but I hope you get what I´m trying to say. Once again probs to Dirrell for a convincing performance and thank god he´s alright. BTW: I predicted AA would KO Dirrell in the 10th round. I got it almost right:hey
These two will fight again...too much controversy surrounding both fighters and there is money in the rematch... AA is dirty as $%^&, he is known for it, he deserved to be dq'd..although saying that when I watch the ending of the fight I clearly see in Dirrell a man who did not WANT to continue.
Damn it doesnt take much for the americans to go to town does it LOL, i honestly dont think that americans like europeans very much, the reaction to this fight has been crazy, every euro fighter is now exposed and overrated!! I think some will take revenge when an american loses next because this has been mad
Actually the guy said something racist in another thread. Had nothing to do with Europe. Hell for all I know he's American.
It's a DQ offence. We need to have a deterrent against such blatant and dangerous fouls. Boxers dont sign up to get smacked in the jaw when they are slipped to the canvas. I think more boxers should be disqualified for breaking the rules with **** like this. It's basic Queensbury rules, you cant hit a man when he's down. If you do, you should get thrown out. This is professional boxing at world level, so they should be taught to act like competent disciplined professionals. It's not a ****ing barroom brawl or a toughman bouncer contest. :deal
You're a damn fool. A ref ****ing up this call was in Dib-Yamaguchi. If a fighter gets knocked out from a foul, it's a DQ. Period. See also: Concepcion-Luevano; Bowe-Golota II; Jones-Griffin.
If the foul results in an injury that causes the fight to end immediately, the boxer who committed the foul is disqualified. If the foul causes an injury but the bout continues, the referee orders the judges to deduct two points from the boxer who caused the injury. If an unintentional foul causes the bout to be stopped immediately, the bout is ruled a "no contest" if four rounds have not been fully completed. (If the bout was scheduled for four rounds, then three rounds must have been completed.) If four rounds have been completed, the judges' scorecards are tallied and the fighter who is ahead on points is awarded a technical decision. If the scores are even, it will be called a "technical draw." It doesn't look like the ref had much of a choice. There are rules in place for a reason. AA just learned it the hard way. And he concieved of and implemented this dastardly plan all within the amount of time for ARTHUR ABRAHAM's loaded, flush punch to knock his jaw sideways (because that's when people are usually at their creative best)and the time he hit the canvas. He did all that in ONE SECOND. How generous of you, because..... A) Dirrell would have a terrific chance after AA had a free KO shot on him. We should let all KO'd fighters keep fighting on after 5 minutes. I think Hatton(sorry Hatton fans) would have had a great shot vs Pacquiao after 5 minutes rest time. B) AA deserved such considerations after his cheapshot. Let me get this straight. You don't even understand what they're saying, but take whatever they do say as signs of disapproval. How objective of you. 100%.
