On top of that, Abraham should get at least a 9 on chin and a 10 on heart. Miranda gets a raw deal with a 7 on chin, should be at least 8. Took some monster bombs from both Abraham and Pavlik. Last but not least.... a 6 on defence is pretty low for Abraham. Sure, he doesn't shoulder roll or dance, but he rarely gets tagged flush: he's very good on keeping his guard up.
Man, I heard that the lack of drawing power of both man turns out to be a fiasco for the promoter as of it now there are expecting just about 2.000 people in attendance... :verysad
Most Miranda fans too riden with Repetitive Strain Injury caused by non-stop trolling on the internet to actually leave their houses I believe.
Not true Tom. Tickets were slow at first, but have picked up very well as of late. Well over 2500 have already been distributed and the local advertisements have just kicked in the last couple of days. I still expect a sellout or close to it.
So the reports I heard must then be older than a week...:think - but what about the ref and judges???
I know who they are, but the last I was told was to keep it quiet. I will find out it I can post it here in a few. The ref is not a big name guy, nobody you probably heard of.
Local commission ref who's nobody every heard of sounds like **** but he can't be worse then Neumann indeed...
OK... here it is. REF: This content is protected JUDGES: This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected
K, I checked the history of the ref and judges - seem all to be well chosen. I saw the ref in Miranda's last fight vs. Banks and also in 2-3 low-key fights - seems to be a competent judge...
Unfortunately Showtime is doing a horrible job as of now. HBO knows how to promote their events much better. Locally the ads have been all over the TV and radio. Also on billboards. South Florida is a hard sell since their is so much to do on the weekends. But Hard Rock is the place to be, so I have feeling their will be a ton of last minute ticket sales.
How good does your defense have to be when you're accustomed to bought refs and predisposed refs? One of his first fights without a paddle .... should be interesting to see how he fights when alone in the ring for once ...
