Obviously he had enough freedom to call Abraham different offensive names and belittle him in public.He also had enough freedom to show quite a few very annoying and offensive gestures.

What you have a hierarchical rating system for the animal kingdom? You rate certain animals as more 'acceptable' than others? But, you wouldn't then do that with homo sapiens would you ... or would you? You know, some 'people' are better or more deserving than others ... lol ... you might wanna stop .. and please no dissertations on eugenics or fan letters for Alfred ********* either ....

 

Personally this is a tough one to call simply because AA was more focused on that broken jaw after the fifth round rather than his game plan, I honestly think that the ref also gave AA too many opportunitys, for example when he called time after the head but, AAs corner was allowed to work on cuts during the rest period which lasted longer than the standard five min rest period.
AAs corner was also allowed to change their minds when they asked to stop the fight, once they were told that the broken jaw was not caused by the clash of heads, in other words should have been ruled a TKO win for Miranda.
I also noticed that AA would only fight in splurts he didnt effectively control the fight as some would argue, Miranda would control two thirds of the round and towards the end of the rounds AA would throw a combonation leading the fans there in GERMANY to cheer their man on possibly influencing the judges, note the replays no that network only showed the work done by AA there were no replays of the work done by Miranda wonder why?
also the broken jaw issue that happend in round four, AA was pretty much in reverse the entire night and after the sixth round AA did not even throw in double digits, probably becuase of the broken jaw he feared the counters.
in the end its a fresh fight to be honest with you Miranda has settled well into this weight class we dont know what AAs going to look like moving up and if his power didnt exsist in the last fight who knows what power he can bring up at a higher weight class.
so here are the factors,
Mental advantage that goes to Miranda simply due to the punishment he put on AA its not like that will erase from AAs mind.
also AA is fighting in the states his first time this is against a guy who beat the **** out of him even though AA won he got his ass beat not only the ass beating but fighting in the states is not like fighting at Home AA is a stranger to the americans Miranda is not home court advantage for Miranda.
Super Middleweight the move up in weight does AA have the confidence in himself at this weight? you would think they would have took a tune up fight before this fight to test the waters dont know what they are thinking but I sure wouldnt want to just throw my fighter in there with this guy again if he cant carry any of his power with him.
Miranda has shown improvement and more paitence in recent fights I think his best fight since then was his fight with Allen Green forget that Banks Knock out Banks is no where near the level AA is but at the end of the day Allen Green is and Miranda got through that I am sure he will stop AA this time around.

Good post .. regarding weight ... don't think the weight will be an issue for Abraham as he looks like he is having some difficulty making 160 .. he looked Lacy-ish in his last couple fights (stiff, muscle-bound, slow, lousy workrate) and although short for a SMW he looks like he needs to move up soon. Miranda might be better served by having the full 168 to work with .. so 166 might actually be a slight comparative disadvantage.

 

Geez. Let the guys fight it out in the ring.

 

I dont understand why people make a big case for Abraham in the first fight simply becuase he won, the points being taken had everything to do with it. THere were some bad calls by the ref regarding low blows, and if you watch the first round Miranda was hitting Abraham just above the belt line and Abrham began to buy the refs attention to those shots which is what brought un warranted warnings from the ref.
in other words the way I look at it, the ref really ****ed up this fight big time. AA was getting his ass beat and really should not have been allowed to continue once the corner said that was it in round 5, somehow they swayed the ref again perhaps this had to do with where the fight took place.
I dont think Abraham will knock Miranda out he didnt last time but then again to be fair about it he had a broken jaw to protect, I think his jaw might get broke again in this fight, the kid if you watch he fights with his mouth open alot if he does that here you will see the same **** go down the difference will be in America they are likely to stop it especially if he bleeds the way he was out of his mouth, hell if they stopped the Corrales Casamayor fight for a cut they will for sure stop the fight if AA bleeds like that agian.

 

The ESB line is Miranda kicked Abraham in the balls, head-butted him to break his jaw, almost got KO'd in nearly every round, and is a 'disrespectful' & 'uncivilized' beast that wants to eat Arthur's children and force him to dog pigs in the back pen. He also drank from the public fountain, sat in the front of the bus, and once had the nerve to say 'howdy' to a white chick. He's a bad man ... your take on the fight matches mine so you are clearly insane.:huh

The headbutt was to the top and back portion of the head so I dont know how that could have broke his jaw, Actually there were some monster straight right hands in round four that broke the jaw you could clearly see Miranda tag AA with when AA had his mouth open.

 

Some AA huggers still insist that was what did it. AA's corner tried to make that case. In retrospect, I'm not sure why the ref didn't agree with AA's corner given some of the other things going on.

 

Cus the backlash Newman might have received here in the states might have been why he didnt buy that theory, but I agree Randy was ****ing the whole fight up why didnt he just go for the juggler?
