in terms of Rounds I had Dirrell winning all but one, two at best, but what I can say is this, before the foul, to me it looked like Abraham vs Taylor was starting to happen all over again and I think had AA kept himself together mentally I think it would have played out exactly that way.

Dirrell made AA beat himself he brought the right game plan to out work AA and frustrate AA down the strech leaving AA to mentally fall apart and Crack.....

I think the google translation of that article says it best:

"In boxing, however, the rule is Lying on the ground can not be beaten."

You need to learn how to score fights. Dirrell won 8 of the first 9 rounds in my opinion and one of the judges had my exact scorecard, while the other two gave him 7 out of the first 9. I don't know how in the world you thought he won four rounds. Nobody in their right mind can say this fight was close.

3 rd, 8th, 9th and 10th like most of the people I guess. Wasn't it obvious?

I am afraid that you need to learn that. The sooner, the better. 8 out of 9 is complete joke. Dirrell was KD and even Tarver admitted that he lost 3 rd. So the absolute minimum is 2 rounds. Anything below is simply insane. Think about that well before going in bed today and arrange some phone calls and appointments.

Round 3 was close in the eyes of some, but I scored it for Dirrell because he won the majority of the round. You don't give a whole round to a fighter for a couple of quality punches over the other guy who won most of the round. Besides round 8, he didn't win any clear rounds in the first 9. Rounds 3,8, and 10 are the only rounds you could give to Abraham in the entire fight. You're the only idiot that had Abraham winning four rounds in this fight.

Clean punching, Effective aggression, Defense, and Ring generalship are how you score rounds. How many of those things did Abraham do throughout the fight? One judge and some media members agreed with me, while the other two judges and I were just one round apart. I don't recall anyone giving him four rounds.

Exactly the point i was trying to make in another thread,AA illegal blow was "calculated" it wasn't simply a case of a shot being thrown in the heat of the action.I think the effect it had on Dirrell was because it was his forearm making contact with Dirrells temple.

You could clearly see that Dirrell tripped over Abraham's left foot when he was supposedly knocked down. You can also point out that Abraham could have also had another knockdown go against him at the end of round 7. So your point on the knockdown is completely worthless.

Classless clowns have no basis for a protest. This is a really ugly situation. They showed their true colors last night.

you're right. as much as i'm annoyed by dirrell's beahviour, the sauerland camp including most of the german media are completely out of their minds.

it's a shame this fight had to end like that and i'd really like to see them fighting each other again later in this tournament to at least create something of that bad blood.

I had the fight 88 - 82 going into the 11th. There were two knock downs that weren't called. One for Abraham, Dirrell was not tripped. One for Dirrell, the ropes held him up. The foul was clearly intentional. Dirrell has down for a second when AA clocked his arm back and threw the hook. At first, I thought there may have been some acting on Dirrell's part, but after watching several times, there was no hesitation in his reaction. His eyes were immediately closed and the trembling started immediately. He deserved to be DQ'd. Laurence Cole did a great job at the end of the fight.
Arthur was completely classless after the foul and fight.

The best thing Abraham could do is apologize, say it was unintentional, and that he's looking forward to his next bout.

No one in the boxing world will accept this as controversial. It was a bad foul and and an obvious DQ. Maybe he'd have gotten the late KO or maybe he wouldn't, but keeping yourself together mentally is part of the sport.

Abraham (and his corner) panicked and lost the plot. He deserved to lose.

My greater concern is Dirrell and his future in and outside the sport.

He made AA punch him when he was down? the area he slipped had been a problem already, AA got a ass kicking quit with the sore loser bit already
