Abraham does have a psychological advantage against Miranda now...

Miranda will be very confident! Maybe even more confident before the first fight - it's his hometown, it's his crowd, it's his commission, it's his territory. The last thing he wants is to lose before his fans... So Abraham should expect a totally focused and 110% Miranda which is a threat to everyone out there.

 

Pantera was salivating at the thought of getting AA back in the ring and avenging what he considers a robbery. Give it up Dr. Phil, that is just so much mumbo jumbo.

 

Miranda won more rounds than Abraham but, the point deductions cost Miranda the fight.

 

That fight would have been a TKO victory for Miranda had the ringside physician been worth a damn.

 

Miranda wins this one.

 

Maybe later in the fight...but early on, I don't think Abraham will enjoy any sort of mental edge. In fact it wouldn't be surprised if the edge goes to Miranda early on, whose lost to Abraham once (unfairly to many) and will want to go out and rectify that mistake his way and NOT leave it up to the judges.

In the first fight everytime Abraham went in after Miranda, he would nail him with a clean shot, sometimes stunning Miranda.. Abraham controlled rounds 1-4 and looked really impressive, but after his jaw was broken, he was more defensive and cautious.. People complain about Abraham fighting defensively and circling the ring.. Well, he had a broken jaw.. 99% of the time, that fighter would've thrown in the towel.. But the first fight is over and the rematch is Saturday.. We'll see if the first fight was a fluke or not..

 

Exactly my thoughts.

If Abraham doesn't have that broken jaw to protect which made him more defensive in the later rounds last time Miranda could have gone down.

Now let's see what will happens without the broken jaw.

 

Taking Abraham as the jaw clearly impacted his performance.
Miranda won the rounds and lost on points and some of those points werent right. Just surviving through that adversity after you coud PLAINLY HEAR Abraham say "Noooooo" when they asked him if he wanted to continue during the break from the headbutt, shows heart and will because he was in a good deal of pain. I had it like 2-2 and even after 4 rounds and could maybe have seen 3-1 Abarham to that point. Then the discussion mayhem and Miranda not being able to take him out, which was 7-5 or 8-4 in rounds favoring miranda. Yet MINUS 4 points for Miranda from point deductions.

This time? I expect a better performance from Abraham and a close win. If miranda improves his game just a little from the last fight though??? He very might well get the WIN this time. Abraham had holes in his game before the cutt and butt. Miranda just wasnt exploiting them enough.
