    a hairline fracture means the bone is cracked, not really broken

    or if you want to consider it a break its not really a seriously broken rib

    I can only go off of my personal experience here, but mine sure hurt. I'd prop myself up with pillows and limit my breathing.

    Yep. People don't realize that it hurts a lot of people to call of an event like this. Not a smart career move unless you just really have to.

    Shut up. I have not hated on anything since about 2002. I can hate on AA all I want to. That knockout was not supposed to happen. :lol:

    yes. he said it himself in an interveiw on ard abut half an hour after the fight. henry maske commented on that later saying that he once suffered a hairline crack himself and knows how painful it is.

    Did you also see the post-fight interview on the ring when Abraham was describing the 3 knockdowns? You had the translater translating the questions and he was answering looking at the video feed and when he was hitting Miranda on the chin he was stopping his talk and was just making a childish "Boom". I thought it was so funny and very classic.

    He's become one of my favorite fighters. I really thought Miranda had a chance.

    I had two simultaneous breaks, same side, and for three straight weeks I got crazy hiccups every day. I was probably putting a lot of thought into not laughing or getting the hiccups and therefor they came regularly. After all, where attention goes, energy flows. But yes it does hurt considerably, and to fight with a broken rib is commendable. :good
