well the news is out that Abraham-Froch will take place August 21 in NOTTINGHAM. That being the biggest news of the day as we only knew the fight would be in Europe. Of course, this is just what's being reported and is, of course, subject to change.

Regardless, home turf in this fight is hugely important. So this would be a big win for Froch if he lands the fight at home.

Supposedly, Showtime already has Darch-Donaire lined up to fight in LA on the 21st. So you could have Froch-AA LIVE in England, followed by this fight. That would be a hot night.

I don't know how they think they can make more money is England than in Germany? AA is much bigger their then Froch is in England.

Wasn't there an interview posted with Abraham earlier where he stated that the original schedule was for the Froch fight to be in the UK, but he still hoped it could be in Germany?

Abraham vs Froch should be a war.

Article on the Scene has Abraham saying the fight could still possibly end up in Germany if Froch loses to Kessler.

Now that will be a great night of boxing, two potential FOTY candidates. Location of the AA-Froch fight shouldn't matter too much as it is very likely that fight will end in a KO, by Abraham ofcourse.

You might be right but Showtime showed Dirrell-Froch live in England at 1am or whatever time. Ok, there's no American in AA-Froch, but there was no American in Haye-Maccarinelli and that was also live on Showtime at 1am or whatever.

Vic is slowing down very fast expect another domination of Donaire and live over that win just like He is doing now.
