Bull****. Miranda belt was taken at Gunpoint from Wilfred Sauerland and his puppets. Watching it on TV you could only see half of the bull**** he pulled. He basically had Leon Margulis, Miranda's promoter, thrown from the stadium for trying to stop the corruption. He is an evil corrupt ******* who should not be allowed to bring his fake champion to America.

Maybe paper champion but not fake - still agree with you that the fight should have been stopped in the 5th round but the ref decided differently. Over the whole 12 rounds, justified for not having this bout stopped or not, Abraham at least won 5 rounds with 2-3 points being deducted would have been fair. So at least Miranda didn't beat Abraham over 12 rounds.

But please stop it - this topic has been concluded for a long time...both are getting along in their careers in different divisions at the moment - maybe they will met again some time in a well deserved rematch at 168...

why didnt abraham get a point deducted for grabbing behind the head and actually throwing kick boxer knees.....LOL that **** is classic. Only idiots with tunnel vision didnt see all of the blatent fouls of Abraham and Miranda thrown the Elbow in retaliation.

Pavlik is not ducking Abraham if he does not fight him right after Taylor nor is Arum there just trying to turn Pavlik vs Abraham into a super fight were there is a lot more money involved. Which means a little bit of a build up with Abraham fighting someone like Sergio Mora or Giovanni Lorenzo on the Pavlik vs Duddy card here in the USA.
But Duddy Pavlik might not happen in June any way sence Duddy is looking to have 3 to 4 more fight before going for a shot at Kelly so we might have Pavlik vs Abraham sooner.:deal

I also think this way...Abraham need a decent showcase of his skills in the US before making a big unification vs. Pavlik.

I still hope for Abraham vs. Sturm in mid 2008, being televised by HBO in the US...

Nobody in the USA cares about Abraham. The only reason he would even be considered is if Pavlik wins his rematch there is nothing left worthwhile at middleweight. HBO will have to get Abraham involved to give Pavlik a future big fight.

Before the Miranda vs Pavlik fight, HBO had zero desire to put Abraham on their network. He is a nobody here, and for good reason, he is a Sauerland fighter. Let Wilfred blur your vision with his fighters in Europe, we dont need that crap here.

Finally I must say, you can't give a fighter credit for what he have done. Even when the Abraham fans give Miranda credit for his showing and fights afterwards, you still can't say anything positive about Abraham - you're a sulky guy...

As long as Abraham remains in the protective shell of Sauerland, it is hard to have much respect for him. I know what goes on there, saw it first hand. Nothing against Abraham, I have always said he was a true warrior for finishing the fight with Edison. But unless someone hits Abraham with a shot to put him to sleep, there is no way anyone will ever beat him under Sauerland's roof. And since Abraham is such a great defensve fighter, that is almost impossible.

Say what you want, but you too would be sulky is your boy Abraham came to the States and everything happened EXACTLY the opposite. Sorry Tom, but after what I saw, **** Sauerland and his bull****.

    K, I hear you.

So just let us hope he crosses the pond. But also it seems like Abraham is the first guy that Sauerland thinks he can promote profitably - he just have a style that fits for the US. As good Maske or Ottke may have been, their styles were plain boring...

I saw a guy from my town being robbed vs. Foreman in 1995 and also saw Sturm not given the decision vs. De la Hoya. Ok, it wasn't any doctor or injury involved and not a ref with no clue but those were clear shady decsisions...but I never lamented that much about it...
