I agree that he does have a pleasing style for the 35 seconds of each round that he actually fights. But I dont think in America that is going to win him rounds like it does over there.

Like I said, I was there and saw things first hand that blew my mind. From the first fight cancelation, to the weigh in, to the locker room tactics, to what happened ringside during the fight. Things that I was shocked could happen even in this sport. Yea, Sturm got screwed by very questionable scores. Unfortunately that happens way too much. I knew that going into the fight in Wetzlar. But I really had no idea how much else could be controlled. Oh well, tough lesson learned by an undefeated fighter. At least HBO saw through the smoke and wanted Miranda to be a star. The one good thing to come out of the fight.

Anyway Tom. It is always good to hear your opinion. You are one of the few people I respect on these forums. Although I may not agree with everything you say, you say it with respect and are pretty opened minded.

    Happy Holidays!

Apart from Taylor Abraham has the much better skalps in his fight record. And by the way you are wrong in saying that Abraham didnt want no part of a rematch.Miranda was offered a rematch, but he didnt accept the offer to rematch Abraham in Germany stating that he cant make the weight anymore. Why wont Abraham fight Sturm? Because Sturm's management demands big bucks for a fight with Abraham,a lot of big bucks.Money is the name of this game.Obviously Abraham's promoter doesnt believe that such a huge sum can be refinanced and covered by German tv .

Come on Odo, they offered Sturm's management about $3 million - a purse which Sturm wouldn't earn in his next 2-3 bouts and given the fact that he struggled vs. guys he has to rematch (Castillejo and mabye Griffin afterwards), he should take the money for a fight vs. Abraham...

Pavlik has talked about unifying before moving up, so I see no reason why this fight won't eventually happen. If you don't live in Germany or are not a hardcore boxing fan, you wouldnt know who the hell Abraham is.. He needs to bring his ass to the States, fight a journeyman/fringe-contender or two, and then it will set up a big fight btw him and Pavlik.

That's because of the pints that he drank in his dressing room celebrating after knocking Abraham out. Abraham would not last 3 rounds with Pavlik five with Taylor and get's stopped in the 8th by Duddy.

    Outside of Germany.....
Pavlik would KO Abraham after getting off the canvas.
Taylor would win a boring close decision, disputable.
Duddy would be a bloody mess and KO'd early.

Good you mentioned this. It seems he's doing so much weightlifting that he is too musclulair and many times overtrained. Well it seems this way, but considering he has a very good trainer that would be very very strange.

NB.:The large the muscles the more oxygen they need (i.e. the bigger they are the faster they tire)

He really is fighting one minute of each round. Very smart how he uses his energy. Alhough it must be said that against limited Gevor he was exhausted after, what was it, 6 rounds?

people give him props for beating EM, and critisize Em for not being able to KO AA but AA was on his bike for the majority of the fight
