The only thing that seperates the resumes of Abraham/Pavlik is Jermain Taylor. Other than that they are fairly equal. That said, we all know Taylor is a fraud, probably the fourth best in the division

Or the fact that ****ing Pavlik destroyed Miranda. Miranda beat Abraham close to death. It looked like a ****ing horror movie with his bloody jaw hanging off of his face.

So I would say there just a slight difference between the two other than JT.

 

Fights aren't awarded based on the respective faces post-fight

I thought Abraham did enough to win that fight. Some disagree. Either way it was close

It's down as a win, and overall their records ARE similar other than Taylor

Fighter A beating fighter B better than fighter C doesn't automatically mean A beats B. As you know, I suspect

 

Yeah the fight was close, with the ref penalizing Miranda for everysingle wrong move and all. But if that fight was anywhere other than Germany(the land of protected champions) Miranda would of gotten a win.

If you look at it on paper without watching any film, I guess youre right. But anyone who isnt biased or a ****ing ****** knows that Burger king got lucky with a Miranda win.

 

Of Pavlik's last 6 opponents five had never been stopped until they stepped in the ring with "The Ghost". Pavlik is 6' 2"1/2. With 75" reach. He throws 80-100 punches per round and maintains a connect rate of 40-50%. There is a hell of a lot more than JT seperating these two: namely size and skill. Pavlik is Arthur's worst nghtmare. Arthur cannot out box Kelly, and he sure as hell ain't gonna out slug him.

Miranda ****ed Abraham up BAD

pavlik took the same shots and never blinked. Kelly takes AA out in 5 rounds. Taylor beats him by late tko or wide ud. Miranda damn near killed him, and he is not even close to JT or Pavlik in skill.

Yeah if Pavlik had to fight Miranda with a badly shattered jaw and was bleeding like a stuck pig I'm sure the outcome of that fight would have been much different.

 

Abraham is a beast in the ring. Cant wait to see him fight in the US against another champion. He is impressive.

And thats another thing, stop telling everyone abraham has a steel chin. People with steel chins dont have their jaws just about ripped off of their faces. He might of looked like he had a steel chin by the quality of opposition he faced in the past.

If thats your logic behind it, then Muhammad doesn't have a steel chin either, becasue he broke his jaw against Norton. What defines a steel chin is ones ability to take a punch regardless of what happens to them, Abrahams never been down in his 25 fight career nor has he been wobbeld. So he does have a steel chin.
