I could have sworn I heard someone before Abraham saying that Dirrell was a "good actor" and then Abraham followed suit with that comment. Did anyone else hear that? Or was I imagining things?
AA does have class. He didn't have his wits with him. With the blood pumping and you are in the heat of the moment, these things occur. His comments after the fight were attributed to this as well and the ignorance of his supporter/corner. I believe after he cools down, reviews the tapes, he will be in a better state to view what occurred more objectively. Then, upon reflection, he will see that the DQ was justified and he will accept it was mistake, wishing Direll well. I hope so, I think AA is a good guy. However Direll was outboxing him badly and had another KD on him. AA missed out on a KD too. Anyways, I hated the ending. The refeere was bad... and the euro's on this forum saying AA was robbed are so ****ing stupid. :fire You dumbasses show no concern for fighters. What if Direll has a serious brain injury from this? It's possible to be a fan without being willfully ignorant.
STFU *******. Dirrell was boxing the pants off Abraham. Dirrell's a "little *****" huh? He has more balls than most of us on this forum considering his last 2 fights have been with Froch and Arthur and he has only 20 fights under his belt! DQ was well in order. He should have took his schooling like a man instead of going out like he did. I hope Pavlik is still the same fighter he was pre-Hopkins and destroys this chump.
(being that there are about 10 post about it....i wrote what i thought and i am going to copy and paste it on each to say my piece) no way..you can watch that again and see it was a clear slip...in the same corner he slipped before. I feel bad for both fighters...it was a ****ed up ugly mess and occurance. I think it should just be nullified... no points for anyone and no dq on aa's record Abraham didnt know he slipped.. abraham thought he was doing what he does..."duckin and jiving" when he is in the corner or against the ropes... he threw on instinct..much like roy jones did agains montey barrett... he was just in the mix and threw. I can understand Dirrell being as upset as he was. hometown and all. He did demonstrate the blueprint...and was winning no matter what any AA fan says. Abraham should have said something to the effect of "i didnt know he slipped" not...he's an actor. or anything else... he talked **** about a guy that was clearly beating him. Dirrell was not acting... he was zoned out like roy been in the past.... when you catch an uppercut on your feet at least you can absorb the shock and roll with it.... when you are low doing a goddamn split practically on a knee (and not from a punch) and you take an uppercut ...you can't even react accordingly....he got a bomb dropped on him in the worst way. We know AA's power... he didnt perform well tonight. and he was lucky to not catch his first loss tonight that he was going to recieve. A fine performance by Andre Dirrell...(hold your head bro) and an unfortunate reaction by Arthur Abraham.
**** you. Dirrell was totally ineffective. Ran for his life and fought like a coward --- scared shitless. He went down on purpose to avoid getting hit. He deserve to get knocked out. It was obvious. Abraham is the man. As far as I am concerned --- he won this fight.
Abraham said Dirrel was ducking down low and threw the upper cut. Which I bet they practiced. He then watched replay and said he couldn't see that (Dirrel was down) Bottom line is accidental fowl. Fight cant continue. Automatic DQ.
Bull****, what round 10-11 were you watching? he was coming on strong and Dirrell didn't like that one bit, he had very little left. However that doesn't excuse the punch, clear DQ wether Dirrell was haming it up or not.
It's lucky your opinion doesn't count then, isn't it? If you can't spot a genuine slip like the one that occured prior to the illegal blow, then you are a deluded nuthugger.
Dirrell fell down from the presussre ??? :rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl What pressure did he have to worry about he was rolling from double A's punches with ease !! If anyone fell to the pressure it was double A !
His lack of class was less about the actual blow and more about him vehemently denying that it ever happened.
Abraham is noticeably a non-skill fighter who depends his win only from his punching power. He just got exposed in this fight with Dirrel.
allow me to help you then : "Im just one Eastern European getting hotheaded that another Eastern European guy lost. typical tribal behaviour. I thought I had a Eastern Euro hero that could beat up black people as in my dreams, but then another slick boxer made him look clumsy and primitive. I shall now resort to calling him a "runner" and an "actor" even though he hit my guy more than my guy hit him. I shall now go back to watching Kostya Tzsyu tapes. those were the good ol days. "
