If Froch can outbox him then you'd have to fancy Wards chances of being able to do the same.

I really hope Abraham can pull it off, he does have a punchers chance but again I don't think it will happen, he needs to start quicker rather than leave it until later on to start fighting, Ward won't gas out.

It doesnt bode well for him...

really took a shine to him as well in the build up to his fights

Agree. It was (froch) far to one sided to not have affected him and if his next one goes the same it'll be to much imo, Considering how dominant he was before

I just don't think he's very good overall.

I know someone who bet on him to win in the 2nd
round of his last fight and still hasn't been paid.
This lad works for a online bookies as well ha.

Only interesting thing about this fight is what tactic Ward will employ. I think he'll handcuff Abraham.

Ward likes to stick his head in and work though. I imagine he'll stay away as much as he can, he seems to shift gameplans as per the opponent. But should he get too confident ad involved, Abraham has a chance.

I imagine Ward will outfox him throughout, though he'll have trouble keeping Arthur honest with anything other than his head IMO.

Ward 120-108 on all three cards :deal

It'd be interesting to see if Ward stays on the outside a lot more against Abraham. What many people don't know is that Ward CAN box on the outside, he's just so accomplished on the inside too. One of the reasons we've seen little movement from him lately is because he's been having really bad knee problems.

Ward will see everything coming from Abraham and win big on the cards.

I can't see Ward fighting Abraham the same way he fought Kessler, he'll stay outside and move. Why give AA a shot at winning when you don't have to?

    Exactly.

Then again, Ward has impressed me every time, he'll probably go one further and beat Abraham in close throughout

Seems an adaptable fighter. Any idea on what his punch resistance is like though? I've rarely seen him hit clean...any 'green' shaky moments?

Isn't that what he did against Kessler? Took away Kess's jab with his circling, made Kess fall short, countered over the top, threw lead right hands and then tied up. Wasn't really an inside masterclass along the lines of the Green/Bika fights.
