What the hell is all this talk about Arthur Abraham fighting in a unifcation fight in the US ?

    Will NEVER EVER happen.

You heard it here first, Abraham will spend his entire career avoiding the top competition and fighting in Germany against fighters who are ranked 8-15 recieving plenty of gift decisions along the way.

After the complete and utter beatdown Edison Miranda gave him its no wonder.

I hope for the sake of the IBF middleweight belt that Wayne Elcock knocks this punk out so we dont have a fraud as a champion anymore.

I really reading the posts of most Brits here, Calzaghe fans included:
Boro Chris, Max Molynieux (sp), ...
But yesihavearm proves over and over again that there are dumb Brits too.

You know just like everyone else that because you're awarded a decision - doesn't mean you earned that decision.

I too thought Miranda won that fight.

Miranda didnt not beat him down though he did bust him up.Abraham had Miranda wobbled more than once in that fight.Cant understand why Abraham gets no credit for his heart in that fight. His jaw was gruesome(sp?).

I do agree he needs to fight better competition.Whether or not he shows up here is yet to determined.

Let's assume that he got a gift: Does this mean that he's a fraud?

Miranda was deducted 5-points in that fight.

Anywhere else in the world Miranda would have won.

Look at abrahams fights since then.

Demers, Grevor and now Elcock ?

    Who, who and Who ?

    Fake champion.

Anywhere else in the world Johnson would have won 3 times against Woods and Kotelnik would have won 2 times against M'Baye.

Miranda commited so many fouls, the point deductions were ok. The ref should have stopped the fight, though.

    Demers: first fight after Miranda.
Gevor: mandatory challenger. I know Calzaghe fans don't know what a mandatory challenger is.
Elcock: I'm not satisfied with him, but who was willing to fight Abraham?
    Taylor? No.
Pavlik? No. (I DON'T say that he's ducking Abraham.)
    Wright? Perhaps.
    Sturm? No.
    Duddy? No.

And the middleweight division is pretty poor:
Would you be satisfied if he fought Asikainen or Sylvester? No, you wouldn't.

I'd be MUCH more satisfied if he fought Sylvester actually

And woods won at least one of those fights against Johnson

yesihavearm is a little englander. Yep, those who thinks no player from the two teams who got to the final of the last soccer world cup (France & champions Italy) could get into the great England side:nut

Asikainen is winning that rematch so I wouldn't suggest that fight:-(

I'm British and even I have to admit Elcock has zero to no chance of winning the Abraham fight (and unless he turned into Roy Jones overnight) neither does he deserve to. Get a reality check yesihavearm and let's support the better european fighters in going to the States!

You didn't see his last fight, did you? He struggled with an Italian C-level fighter.

I have to admit I haven't seen any Elcock fights. But it's hard to imagine that he is worse than Sylvester.
